Agree with you FF23 the campaign hasn't done itself any credit and I doubt the majority of Swedes will be taken in by it and neither with the Government, all Parties.

What is the upcoming EIA you're referring to Geraint, do you mean the on going process in the Environmental Court? The CAB has previously stated on 1 Oct 14 that the Company's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is sufficient with respect to Chapters 3, 4 and 6 of the Environmental Code. And on 29 July 2017 the Mining Inspectorate confirmed to the Government that the Company's EIA is consistent, in the detail provided, in meeting the requirements of the Supreme Adminisgtrative Court Judgement in the case of Norra Karr.

Just read that link from UnknownSoldier and it says Björkholmen village would have to be evacuated...Bjorkholmen is north of the proposed site...it's actually Randijaur village that's closest, 3-4 km away.
