Seems archaic to me, that the transfer can’t be instant. I know they always want to make money so there would be a fee. I don’t get the logic of a 5 day transfer.
Anyway, I shall take Kev’s advice and buy some more at intervals.

I would like some advice as a reasonably new investor with quite a few ggp shares in a HL fund and share account. I would like to move them to my ISA in a few days but apparently there is a five day wait to sell and buy back, and I’m terrified of losing out! With my luck, anything can happen in 5 days. Any ideas?
