Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
Math failing me long day. 90% difference I mean. Still results were promising at least I can look at it like giving to a charity, if they ever do realize something, people suffering from ipf might have a ray of hope with nxp002
Well I'm sure this must have been required, but a poor deal for shareholders none the less. Disappointed this was required for such a small sum. last time they tapped the market prior to the landstead dosaster was at 2p 10x difference, back in march 2021.
To say DG and JH stand to lose nothing is a bit lacking. They have both dedicated a significant portion of their professional life to work on the candidates we all hope to profit from... eventually. They stand to lose out in some respects more than I do if the ventures are ultimately unsuccessful. I maybe at a loss financially but I haven't dedicated the time and effort, it's not affected my career or working life. Do remember their shares were not a gift, they were earned.
Seems you want us to sell our holdings mulder, why is that? What benefit is it to you?
In my view it's a make or break year for nfx. They cant really tap the market for funding anymore without some commercial progress, doing so would be dire. That being said data for nxp002 should be ready q1 or q2 if delayed. This would allow them to begin/continue/formalise commercial discussions with interested parties. That's our best shot. Nxp004 is a fantastic upside to have but too early to consider.
Landstead wont make a loss, stop kidding yourself. It's part of the reason why the deal is so poor, nfx had assumed sp would be higher in 22.
I think the sp history and boardroom drama of the past few years is clouding people's judgement on what this actually means for the company. Not expecting a material change in market price, given history and timing but at least take the news as a positive you miserable bunch. It's great news, we're a ways off outlicensing nxp004 but its increased the prospects of a deal in both time and size. Hope to see progress on nxp002 next, if they can get it to a point that they can move this forward to commercial discussions next year then all the pain we've put up with for so long will have been worth it.
Further Updates were promised H2 2022
Nice to see this form of engagement now happening, honestly was initially slightly concerned regarding the webinar announcement and lack of rns beforehand, with the challenges nfx have over years I'd genuinely thought they could be testing for some form of further funding. Glad those concerns were unfounded. Good to see progress made in a more digestible format. Not sure if it will have any immediate effect on price but dont really care too much, being reminded of the journey, the science and the business case is well worth the time.
I've just filtered him, 1st time I've bothered to do that to anyone on this board
Correct assertions under what pseudonym, the fungal one or the x-files one? Or it it another?
As one of those that didn't sell due to conviction I can say it's easy to say that red it's a lot more difficult in practice, depends on when you began investing in nfx. Many have been burned here previously and the news stream and management dramas have been frustrating to watch. A healthy dose of cynicism is not unwarranted. Mulder is a unique case as hes pretty much admitted to shorting in the past but others are right to not be overly optimistic. Nfx have some potentially blockbuster products, but they've had a number of challenges that could/should've been avoided.
This could be true, it could also be true he cashed out at a significant loss and bears a grudge. I know I am still reeling from the disappointment in AR's tenureship particularly. However I have a little hope again thanks to Jullian and Dan. Still a very long mountain to climb for me to be back in profit. It's just such a shame that we've experienced this mess. Been a difficult year to maintain faith depending on your exposure, I can sympathise.
DJ take a break mate, I know you've been stung on this in the past (we all have) but I'm struggling to understand what you're to achieve with your posts today? Your presenting troll like behaviour. This has been dire all year, the rns year is an improvement in circumstance. It's still a risky play I think most know that.
Doubt it look at the amount traded, nothing special.
Adding members to board would lead to a limited and short lived recovery imo (still needed tho). The thing that would put off most retail nvestors is the sp performance over time. To end that we need incoming revenue announced. Institutional investors do not generally get interested in micro caps like this. We need retail investors to be convinced again, I believe we're some way off that.
Amazing that over 5mil can be bought for just 16k now just goes to show the pain we've all had to suffer. That's more than my holding but at a 6th of what I paid. Hope they're right on the money, passed the point of saying it's good value. Need to see a team and strategy before I can be optimistic on recovery.
Sadly nothing unusual with nfx at present
What "facts" can you highlight in your prior posts have proven true milder? I wont deny it's a **** show with nfx at present but to claim Pearl's of wisdom on the drivel you've been posting is utter nonsense.
Who would facilitate a negotiation for takeover or merger? We only have Jullian and Maddy left, I think a new chairman and ceo are a must unfortunately.
