STB-I seem to remember someone saying that once the New Kenyan mine starts this will be worth £2 on its own. I see the value slightly different in that we will have a slight premium on any takeover to the current price, but we will also need a an extra amount for future good will if Acacia does not continue in any form which I feel is unlikely. I see it like this that the Tanzanian assets are likely to be shared, however Acacia may well continue in another Country which I will be more pleased with. For the price I have bought selectively on the way down and even the price you have suggested will be interesting. I was very please with the Annual report and I have told the Company as such. In April that and other documents is being sent out to institutions so I believe?

Looks like to me we may have some new investors coming in here after the very productive annual report with progress.
We are up 3% and yet volumes are 50% of the daily average, signifying to me more buyers. It could be the institutions are now seeing this as a great growth value share for pension schemes and ISA's, as we have come a long way over the past year from the "allshare index" to now be part of the FTSE 250 where the institutions will take note.

Yes BB I heard that the instututions can make the most in after hours trading such as we have seen here. However sooner or later thy wil not be able to take advantage if this things fly's it will be a fenzy I am sure.

For the plugging this is not always a bad thing. i.e. Sometimes it is for a gas increase, safety reason, but sometimes it is because they have drilled twice into the same well. Sometimes they want to move the rig off due to bad weather, sometimes they will come back later to extract. If you are interested in deep sea innovation and plugging pay "Plexus" a visit they are under "POS" on the LSE and Yes I do hold shares. I also hold in Lamprell, Cairn Energy among others.

I agree with BB the shorters are trying to force down momentum and they will not be able to do this forever. Sooner or later as I have said before M&G or Prudential or someone wanting growth is going to come on in here, What is seems to me is they are driving down the orice in the day and then buying back very late in the day. Someone said to me that the shorters have an extra half an hour or so after our close to trade so that is where they are tactically playing the game (Fergi time). This will not last. We have a New Mine very soon, reserves increasing, Bank cash growing fast,. The Barrick deal is out there and sooner or later the Govt will come looking for the settlement. This will force the issue. Yesterday was confirmation (up 4% in morning trade and then back down again later).
Also keep watching B/Rock as previously once the good news was coming they started increasing their share.

I am very impressed with the report chaps which was very professionally put together and must have cost a fortune and taken some time to produce. This is not a Company wanting to be taken over, this is a Company selling a bright future. I can even see resistance to the thought of an outright takeover and any attempt may even turn hostile helping the share price further. In the report I see many positives, in fact far more than I imagined. If we can start production outside Tanzania this will also help the value of the Company. The values used being 2018 prices are also very conservative. We also appear to have a strong legal defensive position regarding the International Arbitration with a "standstill protection." This share price we all agree is now looking very, very cheap. I see more than one good reason for the price to rise and am now very pleased with my investment hereon.

Per latest results. I like the sound of that and not depending on just pure Tanzania.

Very interesting - When getting budgets to starting Mining in Kenya, also when highlighting 25 sites in Mali. Also the N Mala leak is sorted. Lots of community work & working with the Govt (improving relations). Confirmations of interest from Chinese Companies. All looks good for this Company. Also overall assets have increased further, more cash in bank. All reads very positive to me as a longer term investor. Gold composites at £247m (2018 prices) link :-.

Hi Mark, yes I have been reading more than one Government are seriously considering moving over to the old ways of balancing their currencies with Gold, rather than with other currencies. I think it will be related to the fact everyone is now thinking that the Dollar for a period will become worth less due to the Feds dovish tone.

I have also read Acacia have served writs for a future International Arbitration to discuss the Political situation if the Barrick discussions have not been acceptable. So we must have a current standstill in place. I cannot therefore see Acacia voluntarily paying a 50% increase in export tax unless the current licencing agreement has a loop-hole. You can be sure the Lawyers/Insurers are all over this whilst advising the Company of its options. As you have said before time is ticking for the Govt. elections and they are moving closer with every day. .

Hi DK - to be honest Acacia told,me in person we should have year end by the end of the Month. Q1 is something different I suppose.
However I never know how the Acacia accounts run as their H1 is different to everyone else's so it seems.

They also told me letters are out to shareholders in April - but not why and what it respect of? Fingers crossed. .

I think people are just sitting on their hands at the moment waiting for news this afternoon from Parliament. The likes of M&G (When p/o Prudential) had at one time well over 5% and they are looking at this as a blip. I can see them coming back in here STRONG as soon as we have some confirmed news. They will shore up their pensions schemes with this little beauty.
For today we have very, very low volumes i.e. less than 10% of the 90 day average. The price will be volatile today but no panic here for me. I do have cash ready and waiting for some more to be honest after selling Premier Oil a week ago at tremendous profit.

Yes I worked out for me Lloyd's feel when I get to 60 I will only have another 16 years to live (per my pension fund with them) and so i am determined to prove them wrong. I have been on the wagon now for over 5 months and lost 2 1/2 stone it is amazing how evil alcohol and sugar is to the body. My blood pressure is now back to normal too my GP could not believe it. I am a great fan of Nonsecio and German alcohol free beers.

It is very strange with the currency markets isn't it. They seem to find strength for sterling when Brexit struggles to become agreed. perhaps they feel we will be better off without it and a hard Brexit I suppose other Countries may need to buy it to trade? We will certainly be gaining a lot of extra foreign currency too if we start to trade more outside of the EU?

BB's no worries. I have a feeling the reserves can change depending on the grade anyway and they can only tell when it is being mined how good a vein they are in at the time.
To be honest that was the concern with CEY as they hit for a 6-12 months a less fruitful vein of Gold and so production fell. However last reports were that they were through this now back into a good piece of rock. Also there have been reports they have discovered another mine, I think they said in West Africa I may as well tell you now as this could be one to bear in mind for the future, but someone said it can take 20 years to develop fully so I will be dead by then, or driving my Dyson electric car!

To be honest it makes sense to offset the loss? That then makes an Insurance claim more likely? i.e. Up until now there has been no loss? Do you follow? They cannot disclose any Insurance details if they have them as they will be in breach of confidentiality. I would suggest there is a 90% chance they have Political risk Insurance. This will only be a credit later if Insurers pay. They cannot record an entry or value for Insurance as the other party then will go if they now of its existence for the full Policy Limits which might be more. However it shows me one thing the accountants are involved which will then mean the lawyers are too for auditing as you know. So we are at least now starting to move forward.

I heard as reported a week or two ago (which you may have missed) we will hear from Acacia with their annual year end report by the end of this month (so any day now) and then shareholders will be receiving a letter from the firm in two or three weeks further in April. This sounds to me to be an exceptional work agenda item and so it could be an offer or news of a change in process or Management? Or just the payment of a dividend? Certainly this is not something I have found they do unless there is a good reason to do so. I suppose if they wish to continue as Acacia perhaps an indication of starting to mine in another Country so that they are not only based in one Country?

As expected a Dovish Fed with no expectation of an increase in US rates in sight sees Gold jump overnight and it is now looking likely Goldman Sachs may be right again as we now start moving towards $1,400 an oz, This is a Acacia shorter's nightmare. I would expect new investors now coming on in here and especially the larger institutions will be thinking about the huge potential what with so much Gold held by Acacia unsold in containers at the ports they will benefit of an increased Gold price more than most. All just before the year end report -Happy days are here again. .

It is an interesting article Parf -many thanks for finding it. I can see what with low or even negative interest rates continuing and the Fed likely to be Dovish tonight, the theme will continue and Goldman have already said they expect Gold prices to rise substantially to over $1400 an oz.

This will all help Acacia substantially when taking into account the huge reserves held by them.

Up 3% on late buys quite happy with that for today.

I hear our American friends now see us as cheap, and they do not expect it to last, and so why not for them a good time to buy.

Suspect a dovish tone from the Fed this wee which may make the dollar fall I suppose. .
