Hi, Basher. Once the Brexit thing is signed off with good conditions, then we shall start seeing more trees, I think. Yes, House Builders outside of London are holding their own - no big quota of out-of-London landbuyers lining up to sign on at the dole (like in last downturn). Good omen, that.

In my opinion, for what it's worth, Bdev is undervalued but rdw is massively undervauled. These are the only two Builders I hold now. You all know about my gains with the former (I've gone on enough about it over the years!), now I'm looking forward to similar gains from the latter over a period! Glad I'm not in any London house builders atm. Hard not to feel sorry for dudes trapped there...

Yes, on behalf of my fellow bdev investors, PP15, thanks for posting that nugget on Barratts. Underlines what I said in my last post. Only sell bdev shares when they have reached your personal profit height. A sum of money you are happy with taking inspite of the SP still rising - remember it could turn on the spin of a dime.

For first time in six years I am losing money on this stock. But it has nought to do with the company, and I am not blaming the company. I have faith in the company. And will stay with the company. I have never sold a stock from a company that is managed well by its board, and sits on a solid foundation. Have I told you about when I bought bdev shares @ a quid and they went down to 50p... and a years later were worth 180p...?

And he is wasting his time deramping to get the buying price lower: Fear of brexit is doing that. Do you want my opinion? I remember when I first bought these at a pound, then they crashed to 50p and stayed there like forever (probably under a year) before they did a slow-slow, quick-quick-slow cha-cha to 180p. That's when I took my first profit from bdev - the first of many over 5 years. And now we've got handsome divs to boot! The moral of this tale? Never sell here in haste! Just morph into a middle/long term investor. Orrrrrrrr.... And you can't loose; so don't lose, my bdev friends. PS. Lots of buying opportunities here atm.
