We're sort of reading from the same page but as I said in a former post... I think I'll hold bdev for a while, while I top up. And my divi will go back in to buy at a lower sp. And I'll wait for the 'water to rise'... (If I were to sell now no way would my profit be near on a par with my divi payout.)

drop - so potentially more houses will be bought in spite of small interest rate rise which may well be factored into builders' SP anyway. Then... potentially more houses will be built on the back of this 'good news' and further 'housing shortage'. I have faith that the SP will bounce back after big divi pay out. So HOLD and keep topping up (if you can) is my advise for what it's worth.

my figure of 6 to 7, by this time next year. Way these divs are enlarging best just to hold. Although I've made a fair bit over the last 10 year on the back of Bdev, sometimes I think, sometimes, I took the money too quickly too soon. HOLD has become my mantra FTM.

Bought at a pound once, and watched it credit crunch to 50p, when I bought some more... If you can stay calm and collected - and take the odd little gut-punt - its the most easiest way to make money. Sorry, I don't do stats anymore - only gut. 'Hic-up!' Excuse me, gotta place a buy for tomorrow. No, it's not another builder!

intending to sell with the aim of lowering the SP and buy back in at rock-bottom price. Seen it all before. Won't happen. This will suddenly GO. It's CHEAP as chips now. Bdev has been very good to me over the last 10 years. Have I told you about the time when I bought @ 50p...? Ah, you probably know the story... Topping up again tomorrow...

Instead of wkly steak sarnies, cornbeef/span. So they will survive! Anyone think there will be an extra 'Special' divi this year?

Can see this hitting the big 800 by this time next year with good dividends in-between.
