Hi, Nige. Yes I agree with what you've said about the stats - they're there in black and white for every one to read. So there's NO excuse not to buy builders at the minute. Now it just needs the government to loosen the handcuffs on mortgage lenders to deter property owners reluctantly staying in situ and adding on.

Yes, Nige, certainly good to be in builders. Not exactly sentiment more long term faith/confidence in the bdev company. I have a diverse portfolio of shares as most investment gurus would advise. In the US and Asia, dividends reached a record of $1.25trillion last year and could climb to $1.35 in 2018. Don't know what the UK figures are. On a near par, I would think.

Bdev largest UK building company(?). With best builder's div yield which increases year on year. Lots of peeps in this for dividend income alone. Got a few bob in RDW - good company too. Nige, had shares in the rest of your listed building companies over the years and made profit, but bdev has always been my best pick, the one I've stayed with - the company I've attained most profit from over the last 10 years. Ain't gonna desert a golden goose, no matter what you 'put under the covers', Nige. Lol.

Nige, I think I've read between the lines. Well, I did VERY well after last EX div day here, thank you. Champion, in fact. A little shaved of it since! lol. Never sold bdev at a loss, though, but certainly have held it as a paper loss! Have I ever told you when I first bought these at a quid and they went down to 50p, then a year later up to 1.80 and on up...? In a way I miss those old credit crunch days!

Smashed both piggy banks and cleared the debris. One lot went on BDEV, the other on DLG. Well, you've got to insure yourself! I feel like a bit of a criminal now though... even though it was me who put most of the money in the piggy banks.

Still holding above 540, just, so could be a buying floor. Got a hammer in my hand and staring at a couple of piggy bank.
