I wonder how many investors on here intend playing the 'long game'... waiting for this to rise to 696 - Jefferies predicational (hold) rating? Yes, I have held bdev shares for 15 years (not literally the same ones, as you are trying to infer for your own mind game gain) - buying my first few as a punt, which I sold later for profit . Then seriously buying and selling and buying more of them over a period of 15 years. Selling them for (good) profit - between 12 & 15 percent. But, like most 'investors', not always finding the 'perfect floor' every time when rebuying … or should I say, 'reinvesting'? When I said 'bdev have been so kind to me...', I was being ironically patronizing. Which I hope you don't think I am in this post to you. I would be ever so upset if you were to draw that conclusion.

Rubbish. You want it to go down - for your short sell. dsc1978 made a valid point and he has nothing to hide either. Barratt, in looking ahead earlier this year, spent millions acquiring a timber frame house business, yet were able to hand back (£m? Nigel?) in handsome bonuses this year, when there was heresy that end of year bonuses would be cut. This is a brilliant company whose shares I have now held for 15years, and who have been 'so kind' to me, compensating me hugely for other not so good investments. So I hate to see little maverick sharks like you swim in and circle this behemoth to inflict nasty little, disrespectful nips... whilst delivering insulting comments.
PS. They have also started to lower the pitch of their roofs hence a cost/ labour saving in wood, ties and slates. A mother couldn't do any more for you!

Now that the price is lifting the shorties have come out to deramp - and this due to the current positions they hold. Seen it all before - such transparent newbies.
