Strong at 450p for a while now but that looks to be broken today. Guess time to put this on my watchlist as my gut feeling tells me it is heading for 380p before bouncing.

Careful in GSK. Share price climbed 23% in a short span of time, about 6 months.

Just a collaboration...doesn't justify the hike(to me). In the end, SP will be ruled by "how much money can we make"? last update was a warning on profit though. hope to get in below 181p again but that depends on what range it will be trading at till year end.

guys, PVCS may be on the bull this week...uptick started already but be careful with your entry point, don't get caught out at the top. and don't blame me if i'm wrong! i'll probably shift funds from here to there, but hope to catch a sudden drop.

don't fret matey...a profit is a profit. human nature tends/wants to be greedy(including me), but when they do, they take on bigger risk. remember - sell when the market is greedy. i just sold. all the best to anybody still holding. see u chaps later.

we may have another bullish week ahead with loads of company results out. eurozone have just reported a consecutive quarter of growth although spain is lagging behind(but better than UK). anyway, i'm comfortable holding for the moment. arryworth, was the £200m payback reported anywhere? doubt they could have paid back twice the amount raised from the rights issue in such a short time...

Lots of assumptions made but as an employee I see a bright future for our business and I remain a firm shareholder.

I have posted it again as there appears to be concern over our deficit. This link shows that the previous calculations used may have exagerated the reserves required to meet their pension liabilities going forward to the tune of 34%. The Uniq deficit at the half year end allowing for sums already set aside stood at about £97m, the stockmarket has gone up 20% since the end of June so the deficit should have shrunk by 10% minimum leaving £87m. Take 34% from that figure could leave a top line deficit below £60m. Some of the cash from the Marie sale and from the Northern European sales could take this down to below £50m. The discussions with the Pension fund trustee would then centre around funding this figure over the next 8 years, however any further increases in the value of stocks and shares as the recovery continues will hopefully wipe out the remaining shortfall within the next 2 or 3 years. As we are all aware Uniq is on track to make anywhere from £15m profit next year with little or no tax to pay thanks to previous losses and with the level of planned investment to increase sales by 50% over the next couple of years this stock is a great recovery play and should get a re-rating as next year progresses and the pension deficit funding is agreed and the sales and profits become known.

i think this is nice and ripe for a rise next week. 64p/65p is clearly the support level now...

NFDS won the contract to supply BA from then onwards :- http://www.northern-foods.co.uk/280aa25370a9473da54f76dc4090e4af.htm as far as i know, everything UNIQ has promised since the recession started, has been delivered(so far). especially the disposal of the european businesses which was the most important move in order to return to profitability. only the netherlands business is left to be disposed, i believe, but that business is in profit, last i checked. so UNIQ still doesn't look like it is in any immediate danger. the market reaction was just silly panic executed without clear thought. to me, that's a great because it flushes out investors who didn't study the company well enough... =) and the market will always bounce back when investors finally think things through clearly. gosh, this recapitulation is definitely jogging my memory back on the research i've done for UNIQ! lol...
