if WMH makes quarterly trading updates? i don't seem to see this in the RNS feeds. if they do, Q3 could be bad based on LAD's feedback on august and september in that article. if u guys are in here, u have to watch out for that update because the share price could tank. just keep this in mind... LAD should have kept their mouth shut! but they needed an excuse for the RI. oh well...

investors are rattled by LAD's rights issue, probably worried WMH may have another cashcall. moreover today is friday and it's normally not wise to keep short term money stuck over the weekend as any news may appear...

i've been trying hard to avoid vice shares but lately, all these gaming shares seem to jump out at me! never knew there were so many around. the one's i've noticed are PRA and GVC. any of you guys in there? headsortails - as for LAD, analysts say WMH will overtake LAD in the long term. read up on the placing if u are interested in LAD. the new shares will have to be released to the market at some point and that may cause the share price to be depressed for a while.

the superior technologies you mention will take a while to establish in this market. PVCS has been in this business much longer than the startups and have well established distribution lines, concrete customer relationships, healthy balance sheet, etc. so i agree with you that for the short to medium term, PVCS has the upper hand. the question is whether they will be able to catch up on time before the startups take over. it's like my opinion of HMV. they are ok to invest in now(due to lack of competitors) but will have to check their strategy towards online distribution and i see them making investments that way, to stay ahead. that gives me confidence. PVCS is taking a breather today.

i just saw an ad from waitrose selling a meal for 4 including a bottle of wine for....£10. how do you make a profit on that? it's a little bit disconcerting. we already know the food industry is making razor thin margins but how much more competitive can it get?

could be an institution that panicked...lol... MM must be having a busy day today with so many shares in stock.

because...i was trying to get in cheaper, always felt a little muddled investing in a "vice" company and the sudden 10p spike was a little too heady for me(creating suspicion). but i haven't found another ISA share with quite as much upside potential and at a good entry point like this. i wanted a share i could just buy and forget. looks like i'll be targetting to enter here again if i get the right price. good to know u guys still around.

the reason the share price is dropping is because intangibles are valued more than shareholder equity on the books.

is the fact that it mentioned august and september were hard months for bookmakers. i think if i were to jump in here, my entry price will be lower now, either the 52 week low or lower than that.

always top slice your shares when you reach your price target. in this period of volatility, always top slice. for me, when we reach 85p to 90p and depending on what news at that time(and if i need the funds to buy into another share), i will choose to either top slice or sell all.

hey mate, hope the trading is going good for u. as of 2007, caterpillar represented 10% of TSW's sales :- http://business.scotsman.com/6983/Titan-Europe.3281396.jp besides Caterpillar, there are loads of other customers including Argo, Atlas Copco, Wirtgen-Voegele, CNH, JCB, John Deere, Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, Same-Deutz, Australian Defence(back in 2006) and Volvo. i reckon it is some of these "lead" customers that are the catalyst for the Q4 figures. now with the goodyear tie-up, TSW will soon be providing the complete package - undercarriages, wheels and tyres. still a potential multibagger at these prices. dyor...
