has to drop to 4900 or below before we have the chance of seeing a bull run again. if u are in profit, sell. if u are at a loss, hold. if u want to top up, wait. i'm still in here for the long term so will be holding.

lol....didn't know u bought in mate.... =) i'm still watching this closely. the trading range of TSW has moved up a small notch now. in the long term, TSW should still be a winner but i use the FTSE as an indicator for market sentiment and i believe it has to drop to about 4700-4900 before we see the next bull run....and i needed the cash! how's your trading going? today, i'm fretting over QED's announcement yesterday. they are thinking of a rights issue again even after stating their finances were stronger as recent as early october.

the shorts won't be there for long :- http://uk.reuters.com/article/idUKL231752420091102 some days ago, panmure downgraded this stock so the price dropped. after they have bought in, altium upgrades it today.

ditto, and compared to the crappy ISA rates, i've got 50% and climbing!

u should either buy when PVCS share price flattens or on the way up. i normally wait till close to determine trend or buy/sell pressure. personally, i believe FTSE has to see 4900(or below 5000) before another bull run but the positive GDP statement from USA today will provide strong support above 5000. perhaps another bearish week ahead and then start the run in the second week of november or earlier? don't know but can only watch closely.

i think it is not time to top up yet. if there are any rallies, it will probably be a temporary. this is because when u draw the top and bottom RSI lines on the FTSE, u will see that the FTSE has to drop closer to 4900 level to be considered "oversold" before the majority of investors will jump in again. up to you to decide of course but this is my current thoughts and speculation...

FTSE has been declining for 4 days in a row! but today has been the steepest drop for the last 5 months. i reckon FTSE has to see 4900 before the next bull run....estimate second week of november?

it's just a general shakeout of the whole FTSE, if u ask me. all the daytraders are fleeing and shorters having a field day. november will be a better month, perhaps in the second week. anyway, UNIQ has broken previous support at 40p...next hope is 37p, if not then 30p, which is when i bought some extra shares a few weeks ago(30p --> 37p). but then, it will be another opportunity to buy in a great company that is really turning around to a recovery. just watch the coming figures when the cost saving measures are filtered out into the UK arm revenue. anybody heard any news of the northern european sale? it's taking a long time...

a bloodbath it truly is...and it could go on till friday. i'm hping the FTSE drops till 4900 by then but i don't think so. if the FTSE closes with a 100 points drop today, we could see a bounce tomorrow morning...maybe short lived. regarding your dealing experience so far...have u heard of top slicing? buy your shares, when it peaks, sell half then the other half is your "base holding". when it drops again, buy in the first half you sold. this is a volatile market we are living in so you should always top slice.

if it makes u feel any better, i pulled out of TSW because i needed funds as i knew the market was going to tank(i used the FTSE as an indicator) and TSW appears to be breaking out of it's previous range! i always tell myself to stick with a share i believe in and i guess this instance of impatience has cost me the profit. but at least the opportunities are abound - so many choices now.

gut feeling says yes. the whole market is being primed for the next bull run.

at least u are observing this. so u prepare for the future - drop on bad news, don't buy in, wait a few days. drop on no news, possibly price manipulation so better chance of a day trade buying in. RD08, u bought in at the all time high price....sorry to hear about that mate....but for newbies out there, remember timing your entry point is critical to live long and healthy. on the other hand, share prices declining at such a steep drop is good exercise for the heart! i just bought into MWA again(2nd load) despite the political troubles going on in zimbabwe. gotta keep my life interesting... =)

is too big of a fall with no new news. it will close on a smaller margin than that so this is a good daytrade.
