Isn't the gold already stored underground...we have to mine it to make "lots of money" ie it has to be sold....however gold in itself doesn't produce an income and I would expect the cash on hand is held on interest bearing accounts. The interest is taxable but we need a large chunk of accessible working capital to cover operations...salaries mining costs etc etc...I do like a great gold coin idea though 🤣

Thing is...if you dont deploy your cash then you should return some of it to shareholders...in a dividend...however common sense says you could save costs by deploying your own cash over using bank loans which incur legal, arrangement fees and interest, and who then take a charge over your assets....less risk and better cost control

I think that you dont want to force the sale or delisting of shares because your platform doesn't trade in the asx...most should have facilities but trade costs for overseas held stock may be higher
