If you've got your maths right marcinkus then you can't just let that go. You really should follow up and chase it down quickly. If you're sure of your maths and you can't get a quick response from the company that is satisfactory you should make a formal complaint. Advise them that's your intention, I'd imagine they'd check into it. It shouldn't be very difficult for them to tell if they've made an error. Also, if they have, it's probable that they've dome something similar with others too. Not sure if you can reach to other members of your platform via their own chat type system? Good luck with it.

Good finish for the SP so fingers crossed it's one of those times where buying into the close leads to a good day the next day.

Brent's rising now, a close above 77.3 or better still 77.5 could favour a move up to 82-83. Interestingly the rise in SP of ENQ and HBR started around 3pm (not specific to ENQ so probably not related to todays RNS) whereas Brent started rising from about 5 pm. Looking at it through rose tinted glasses while high on LSD one could imagine that our SP might rise a little more tomorrow to catch up with the price of brent (if the POB stays up of course). 77.3/77.5 looks like a decision point. A rejection would cause a right old downer from this evening pink acid trip.

A bit more buying going on although volume has been falling away throughout the day. Often buying into the close is a positive sign for the next days trading. What's confusing me is why are both TUI and CCL showing the same pattern, is there something else not specific to TUI that's happening tomorow?

Got it, so it was 10am? That's not influenced the SP then, why were you thinking it might liven up 5eights?

1.82% short in Germany.

I can't see TUI in the top 100 shorted companies in the UK. That would have it as less than 0.5%

What's interesting is that it would be easy to assume the SP is rising for reasons associated specifically with TUI (confirmation bias for those who believe in the bull case), but if that's the case, why has CCL come up as well? I would argue tht it's absolutely not impossible to see it sold back to the 530 level or below (that's actually not so far). Although (confirmation bias again) I believe the results tomorrow will be good and I think it would be very odd if there were negative surprises. You'd imagine tht would cause a rise in the SP, but I think we have to just wait and see.

TUI stable today on DAX (down just over 1%). If we followed the german pattern, we're perhaps close to a high today. That's pretty close to the area I wondered whether we'd see a bit of selling at. But if the institutions that bought the rump were going to sell, you'd imagine it would have to be a price in excess of what they paid i.e. above 560. It'll be interesting to see how the SP reacts tomorrow.

Yes, and there she blows, gapped up to 555. I'll not buy more at that price. It was a cheeky attempt and never likely to work. If it comes off to close the gap, I'll consider further buying

I was hoping to get a cheeky buy in before it had time to move, but I guess it's in auction and will gap up.

RNS this morning regarding our Malaysian assets. Very positive.

I'd have imagined there will be less shareholder value after this RNS.

I'll try not to Stille, do have to admit that I was a lot farther in the red than iParsnip when the SP was trading at 500 or so. And I do mean a lot. But I also, rightly or wrongly view this as an exceptional opportunity. Historically I've often been wrong when I get that feeling. But I'm holding the faith here.
