I've taken a risk. I've dropped a small percentage of my position at a small profit in the hope that the price will fall back to 525 area. I got around 539 I think. 5000 shares.

What was that. I wasn't expecting a big gap up this morning! Very welcome all the same.

It's down a fair bit. I'm guessing that's due to sales slowing (considerably; 40-50% drop at least in some areas of the country; from memory so needs checking) and realised prices falling (around 4% from last years peak). Predictions out there for further drops of 4-8% in house prices. I guess transaction volume could also fall further. Looks like we're well position in the rental sector as people still need somewhere to live and I've not yet seen that rental prices in London are falling.

Winkworth report later this week. Should be interesting.

I'll bet that has the SP back to 203.5 or below. I'm not saying that because I think the relationship isn't useful (I have no idea), just because it will provide an opportunity to close the downside gap. No immediate benefit, bit of confusion and I think we'll close that gap.

I can see POO is rising, but it still looks as though ENQ is looking for downside. I think it's temporary, but I think we'll see 14.9 and probably 14 before a sustained rise.

China as well. Go look at Joe Blog's videos, he has more than one on it. They're buying oil on the cheap from Russia and refining it, then selling back to us and we're happy to buy it. It is (or was) circumventing the sanctions.

I bought a couple of times between 76.5 and 77 this morning. I think we're about to see a relief rally.

Agree with that Stille and had an overall plan to have dropped a lot by end of June. Not worked out this year the way I'd hope. Still time I guess.

Indeed Stille. There's also a addage of some sort. If you were to sell everything today, would you buy it back tomorrow. I'm struggling to make money at the moment, but if I did sell I would buy it all back. I'm still going to have to trade out of some of my smaller positions to keep fluid (like the banks marking to market), I'm too tight at the moment. Ideal world TUI goes to 760-800 and I close that completely frees me up. But I feel well positioned on the whole, just getting a bit too tight to make regular money from more rapid trades. Today things have eased and I can close some bits and pieces out at profit. Not yet in profit for TUI but don't want to close it, it's kind of a core holding for me now. I'm happy to have it.

I've not decided to exploit it Stille, will watch with interest and agree with the overall view that this is going much higher. Was a bit frustrated having missed out on a good swing high.

I'm thinking that a close today above 538 might mark the point at which buyers over power those distributing. But I'm guessing that there'll be some selling at the 537/538 level and it'll rinse and repeat.

We had some great discussion around the TERP here during the RI. I just wanted to ask, why don't we hear more discussion on other bb's about the TERP during other RI's? I learned a lot here, but when I look at for example PANR, there is no discussion of a TERP (or I haven't seen it). Is there a reason it was particularly relevant to TUI?

The SP hasn't really moved. It's just going through a process that we all expected it to go through. Bit of up and down while excess holdings are distributed to form an equilibrium, a base? Not sure why there is any real interest in these movements. If you can trade them, they're great, if you're not able to, be patient.

i'll not comment on any of those companies, largely because i don't know enough to comment, but on the face of it (from the way you're talking), they're all high risk/high return **** or busters. why not try some established companies when they reach attractive market caps? less risk (not without risk), reasonable chance of making money (mostly not multi-bagging), less stress?

I think you're seeing the mechanics of the RI work through. RI price 17p, does anyone know what the TERP is? Price today hit around 15.5 that's a big discount to the RI and if you believe the story is a clear buying opportunity. There will be an awful lot of shares to distribute here. So don't be surprised to see the rises sold into. It's normal mechanics not 'jiggery pokery'. Think about it. RI 17p. Price hitting 20p or more (that's a 15% profit in no time at all; i.e. risk of exposure the market is very short). It will be churned until it reaches an equilibrium (distribution of shares is complete/near complete), then It'll do what it needs to do. Personally, I've made profit on one trade recently and have no exposure currently. But I could be tempted.

It does seem like a sort of 'Nativity' or maybe more appropriately 'panto' but I think you were looking to use the word 'naivety'

Chumba, no idea what the TERP is at PANR, but the RI was at 17p. It's currently at 15.5 or so. It has been up to almost 20.5 during the mechanics of their RI. Each time it rises, it's sold into. Same thing as TUI. What's diffference is the speculative nature of that business. We're fully operational with a strong history.
