Not sure I understand Proctor, anyone that shorted from 450-500 area are sitting pretty with no need to panic. They either believe there's more downside or they're waiting to exit (good for those who are long). Personally, I still think we'll see 240 or lower, but my view is about as weclome as barrymore at a pool party.

Savage, I agree. I guess we all think differently, SP's rise and fall, swing high swing low etc but the overall picture seems to me (as a complete idiot) that there is a lot more upside to come and no obvious downside catalyst. But these people are shorting for a reason and their rationale will have been well considered. It'll turn out to be right or wrong and we'll hav eto wait to find out which. For me, like you, I think we have more upside to come.

As with so many comments, this one is from a very narrow view point. Of course the SP movements are not irrelevant. It's just that to you, in the way you are doing things they are not exploitable. What a silly comment Value. Poorly considered, totally wrong and just daft.

I think we're in better shape here and should also bump up to the upside today. I have 605 as a possible point at which SP might stutter, but 620-630 as the first big decision point. All looking very good from my point of view

Captain, dangerous to take others advice on what's right or not going forward. I'd have said that if you believe the JSE story, then you should buy enough shares to bring your entry price down. The mechanics of this type of thing mean that there's a very high chance the SP will rise to 45 or higher. If you were to buy below that issue price, you could reduce your holding at or above 45 (as many people and even some instiutions will do). The odds now favour the SP reaching 45 or higher. After that, it's down to management to make good business decisions to guide the company forward. And no-one can see into the future.

Well, I could have taken another 10p yesterday (maybe a bit more), ended up closing out (correctly it would seem) for 7p. Gold and silve coming off and I'm just waiting for a next entry. For me (at the moment) FRES is just the gift that keeps on giving. Yes Delia, it is apparently quite an opportunity. If the drop below the issue price is related to Odey and their difficulties, this might very well turn out to be a gift. The mechanics of the RI should work their way through the system over the following 6-8 wks. I personally doubt we will see lower prices than we've already seen. Any distribution from the RI will be at or above 45. So, I think we'll see 45 reasonably quickly and I think it'll be sold into.

Good luck Stille, I've not and won't buy back the shares I sold (obviously with a bit of hindsight trading I wish I'd not sold them). I have a lot of them and am quite excited about what they might give me. The profit here already balances the losses I'm sat on over at ENQ, so I'm really happy.

I think we'll see 600 and higher today or tomorrow OSG. A band of technical resistance between 620-635 might bring some selling. Also the price might stutter at around 605 which I have currently as the zero lag 200eMA. Tempting as it is to take profit, I'm really going to try to hold this for 760-800.

Rwd, just opened the bb to comment on that. 40p does seem to have been a barrier. Be interesting to see if we can move above it now and 'onwards and upwards'. Even better would be to do a 'buzz lightyear' and go 'to infinity and beyond'. Been a slow burn this one.

Looks like someone is still selling into the rises here, that's over 20% below the RI price now at 34.4. Wow.
