No, started here on bb's. Someone taught me a few tricks, I lost even more than I was losing before knowing them. But it did lead me to do my own studying and I found some bits and pieces that helped me. Much of it is based on just understanding (truly accepting) that the fundamentals are not necessarily telling you what 'is' happening, over time if your right about them, they're likely to be very, very important. But the market generally knows a lot more than we do and the market is buyers and sellers. You can see, in real time what the buyers and sellers are doing on a chart. It is helpful. For example if you choose a stock, market, derivative, study it, come to the conclusion that you understand it on a fundamental basis, the TA/Charts will help you exploit what the buyers and sellers are doing in the market. If you're in a fluid market, you're most likely a flea on an elephant that doesn't know that you're there or care that you're there. You can jump on and off at will and change nothing.
