Maybe wonga but there making so much money off mgo ,they dont want to upset the boat, i must admit i dont know what they going to do with all that hfo
As I've said before we have no chance so long as big oil and the usa see us as a threat to profits this happened in Saudi, maersk , and now the ceo of maersk is the ceo of msc i dont see why we wont be stabbed in the back by them ,morroco has been delayed by unexplained holdups and mexico is ridiculous, manjana, manjana, manjana.they need to find a country that cannot be curupted, cuba maybe or even go back to its roots Venezuela. Or maybe a small shipping company that would like to gain a competitive advantage
More waffle , and who's to say even if they ever do the trial in Morocco they dont just turn round and say they have changed their minds , remember mearsk its never a done deal till its a deal
Haggis ,yes i should think bio would need proof of concept hopefully given within the lono trial ,
Haggis please reread what i put earlier i say again under the original maersk trial poc was given within the 4000 hour lono trial ,not do poc first then 4000 hours, this is just rinse and repeat ,we all live in hope but ive effectively written off 20,000 quid on this share,
Just to clear up a point, proof of concept was given by Maersk during the 4000 hour trial. You do not need poc then do 4000 hours
Jackg have i missed something ! 100 000 bpd and 60 million tons allready burnt in commercial use .where?
Have to disagree with you vince, big oil wont let it happen mexico is in the US spere of influence, and mexico has a reputation for corruption.
Sorry to hear your going i hope this forum is not turning into the same as that breakaway forum did in the early days where if you didn't go along with the party line you were blocked i allways found your posts to be well thought out , and i could tell you were a long term investor, where as the short term investers tend to dis anyone who doesn't agree with them .i haven't looked yet to see what was so bad that they blocked you for but i expect it to be trivial,
Thanks jackg123
Salinger no i dont know why so I'm asking you , and as to haunting these boards 148 posts in 8years pails in comparison to your 800+ in 5years or are you saying what you just think and not what you know, we had proof of concept years ago with mearsk why should that be not enough, please tell
Mearsk gave qfi proof of concept ,why would that not be good enough for msc to speed things along
Semaphore red MGO IS DIESEL and yes it is a direct competitor with msar ,if you could replace mgo witn msar as I've said before saudi would be 17billion dollars better off the worlds shippimg fleet would be able to cut costs significantly
Shell and other oil companies are just greenwashing why would they want to kill the goose that laid the golden egg, mgo makes vast profits for them all through the history of qfi way back to orimulsion big oil has stepped on qfi and as to the mysterious global major onboard that was spouted by the directors for years, but investers didn't challenge this, we have been conned
Dustofnations yes thats the place, in the early days before most of this management were onboard before the sea trial with maersk extensive land based hours were put on wartsilla and man diesels,im sure they can use the info from that to make the case for at least backup electrical generation , the national grid in the uk use backup deisel generation when required no doubt it will be much cheaper than gas ,in the winter in the uk when the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine they buy there power from france and also use backup deisel generators
Forget pemex as i have said in the past we are missing a big opportunity , germany is desperately looking at ways for power generation and is now in the process of converting its gas powered generators over to diesel at a superfast rate throwing red tape out of the window .so i say allthough deisel is cheaper than gas ,msar is cheaper still . Add that to the fact that gemany is not considered a very curupt country and if i remember right a refinery in Estonia has made msar for qfi before , being the pragmatists that they are i believe they would jump at the chance .
Semaphorred so tell me why in your opinion aren't the saudis jumping at the chance, and who are getting shafted
Semaphored the us sells 17billion dollars worth of deisel to saudi for power generation. Msar would stop that dead ,its the same with other country's that buy lighter fuels to mix. Its the same with the shipping industry now it has to use mgo. Who makes the most mgo in the world the us. This is why i say that vested interests are not working in are favour
