Daniel honestly mate don’t worry. I bought a significantly larger amount than your goodself several months back. Initially they went up - happy days I thought. At one stage I was sitting on a £10000 loss. They’ve come through and will continue to go up as news comes through which it will. I am not a trader (not clever enough). If it’s money you can afford to have tied up hold tight. I had the same experience with another oiler-ELA.
Totally agree Munch as a fellow Eland old boy this share has similarities as Eland was three or four years back. Then the doomsday scenario was militant action (which fortunately seems to have gone away now). I made a very good profit but would have made a great deal more if i’d held my nerve. I am rock solid with LEK some weeks it will go down but the general direction of travel is up. Great fundamentals i.e proven reserves and now the funding to exploit them. Yes this week has been brilliant but the share will really lift of when the revenues from the oil hit our balance sheet. Had many squeaky ars- days with the former but through it all as long as the fundamentals are right it will deliver. GLA
If it holds in the 9’s what a result. Everyone should be back at their desks on Monday and I look forward to further rises. But !!! if we get confirmation of the Shell JV it will fly. Peepto made a cracking point about this due to the linkage of the CEO’s share options to share price targets. If the omens of this tie up were bad why would he have tabled his shares.
Great to have you onboard Herminator and a Happy New Year to you as well. Yes Eland was good to us and LEK has that same feel to it. There are some genuine guys on this board and to be honest their input, knowledge and views convinced me to invest. Nothing is guaranteed with this game but I am convinced will deliver for all of us P.I’s. Good Luck All.
Can only be a matter of time before the JV with Shell is finalised. If there were any lingering doubts on the part of the oil major about LEKS financial robustness this deal will have swept them away. Onwards and upwards. GLA.
