Agreed an unusual year is bad old 2020. But we are now in the USA summer driving season. Week on week reductions in USA crude stockpiles. Onwards an upwards for oil shares. Close above £3.40 today.

EIA crude stocks released at 3.30pm. Any draw down and BP should hopefully close above £3.40.

Hold Tullow and Prem myself but this is the BP board. Looks like you are a ramper to me :-((

Can’t loose with this one. Not massive returns but medium to long term only going up. I have a mixed portfolio high and low risk. BP is in the later. Like a reliable grand parent. Good luck all.

Nice to see all the newbies on here. All us old hacks had to start somewhere. If this is your first toe in the water you have made a good choice. Can’t really go wrong with this share. Yes there are still a few more opportunities coming our way before this CV 19 problem is sorted. However if you just lock your shares in a virtual drawer and come back this time next year they will have gained in price. The only way is up. Remember don’t panic if they drop because ultimately they will increase. Good luck everyone Long and Short :-)))

Hopefully another big reduction in the USA rig count when the numbers are announced later today (6.00pm). Here’s hoping.

Once the takeover is finalised your shares are automatically sold at the agreed takeover price and the remittance credited automatically to your share account. You can of course sell at anytime prior to that.

Just a positive change of title for posts. Doesn’t matter either way with big oil. With some of my holdings it’s squeky bottom but not with this baby like putting money in a bank. Absolute comedy listening to some of the jokers on here. So what if the price drops to 250 or less let’s be honest BP is not gonna make us millions . In my time i’ve has a few ten baggers and lots of losses. Don’t worry new investors this one is safe as a bank. GLA LTh

I’ve been an investor for too long to remember. Always take these boards with a pince of salt. Made a few quid over the years. Some you win some you loose. Love the aim boards with the rampers and derampers. Unfortunately aim is wild west and there is low volume on many shares and opinions influence investors. It seriously matters. Lost and won a few quid on that basis. But seriously guys on this board get real. Your not not investors this share is a banker. Good luck if you make a few quid trading but yawn yawn.
