I have held one share on main market for 35 years... so know all about sitting on hands sure... but what I struggle with RE Rock, and as said it's my fault... is that as you indicated they "might" find something. But in over a year... and well before. So far nothing to hang a hat on. GGP had great prospect at Haverion PLUS the Jv with a big major and Telfer close... that was my research. HZM have x2 proven tier 1 Nickels. Huge reserves there. Already part funded commitment by 5 banks to exploit and EV battery explosion round corner... again my research. ROCK...emm might find something. Havnt in my year engaged.... my lack of good solid fundamentals my fault. Only raising all this as tired of rampers on here with no substance looking to day trade... if a positive proven scenario was out there I would be delighted. But none so far I am afraid...

I have been investing on the main markets since 1985. So not exactly a newbie. But only in mid 2019 did I decide to use some funds in AIM. I wanted to look at Gold and researched a few before (with hindsite maybe luckily) plumping on GGP. Started buying at 1.6p and by mid 2020 held 7.7 million at 3.61p. Wanted to give some of the big profits rolling into kids. So have since then been slicing there. £250k to them so far and still hold 2.9 million shares there. Rest of funds into HZM. As my analysis sees their x2 tier 1 proven Nickel mines post final funding as a good shout with circa 10 million shares at Avg 4.89p ? So far all well and good, and makes me look like a smart investor hey... emm then we come to ROCK. Back in end of 2019 whilst GGP was oscillating between 1.4 to 1.9p and back n forth was looking for another Goldie and pretty gormlesy punted over 40k in here just as it was on that 1p to 2.3p rise. Saw it fall away in a day or so as trades piled out...and then climb again a few months back... ditto. Added more. But so far this share has delivered only large retraces and useless illiquidity. I was happy to try and get out second spike. But couldn't of course sell any volume. I am no newbie as said, and sat on GGP through big retraces in March lossing paper 100ks, as fundamentals always strong n recovered of course. So don't expect things to go in straight lines sure. But so far ROCK unlike GGP, unlike HZM shows no signs of sustainable progress. Grades are poor, liquidity terrible. Traders everywhere selling into any progress etc. Also in a year quite a few annoying rampers. That Italian sounding guy who also frequents GGP board being the latest clown in and now out here. And you know what I blame no one but myself!! 40k+ decimated is small beer compared to what iv made and continue to make on GGP and HZM. But I kick myself. I am a 35 year experienced investor. But didn't do proper due diligence on ROCK. Mia culpa.... I am no ramper or de ramper. Above are just facts. Check out my post history on the other shares if you like. But I made a silly rookie call on ROCKie and it wrinkles me...

Thanks for views. I'm 58 so a bit younger then Bamps. See his issues therefore with risk n HZM. But feel as you do perhaps that whilst Hydrogen has a future it maybe a way away and Nickel of the size from that outfit has and some suitable for initially the lucrative SSteel market, and then some EVs was worth a risk. Just my view, and as said I still hold just under 3 million GGP at Avg low 4s. Plus have passed on quarter of a million already to kids to help pay some off mortgages by top slicing here. You can't make good calls all the time realise. But as said dumping older style traded stocks in 2019 was certainly one of my less poor ones! I did then like builders fyi. I held 50000 Tw shares for example and was a shame to get rid. But I had them at Avg 170p..... look what later happened. Think they went from 230 odd down to 99p or so. I agree may recover, but with no deal Brexit, this horrible virus and so on I won't be touching them for a while personally. Did also look at Nano.. seemed to me totally reliant on the litigation with Samsung to arrest an ever sliding and not that well run business?. Sp about 9p now... if Bamps thinks HZM with two tier 1 mines is risky I would suspect he may be a little concerned by Nano as a choice..!?.. agree it could be very profitable if Samsung cave at these prices. But it could drag on for years, and they will fight a tiddler like that surely.. anyhow if you already held then can see your need for optimism. But I rightly or wrongly went for HZM etc. Anyhow this is a GGP board, so my last view is that if I didn't also believe in them I wouldn't have held on to the remaining 3 million shares, and I have. So still have high faith here. ATB. Strumm.

Interesting views. Certainly agree that moving out of the more traditional stocks was with hindsite a good call! I too was lucky enough to realise mid last year that I needed to alter my emphasis somewhat, and cleared out the likes of HSBA, WPP, LLOY, RDSB, the house builders (TW, BDev etc) and so on & got into the likes of GGP etc. Would otherwise have been decinated now like so many others sadly have. GGP has been great from 1.6p of course But not all one way. Held on through the pull backs here also. However personally the money has always been about the next generations and the hard times they are going to go through. So allowing me to give them £250k now, still hold several million here. Plus try another player in HZM suits my needs. Only time will tell if that smaller 100 Mcap (HZM) can do anything like this now 1 Billion odd one (GGP) has. We shall see? I agree also that Hydrogen like ITM is an interesting area. That share has really climbed since end of last year. Again & with hindsite a good punt middle of 2019 for sure. Thanks Bamps. Always find your ideas and analysis refreshing. One of the sainer posters for sure here. I am interested by your comments and will investigate further. My thoughts currently are that of HZM x2 tier 1 proven Nickels. Prospect one is the one currently driving the SP. Its not EV grade & is/will be aimed at the SS market. It alone is looking at financing to extend the circa 6p current SP to 10+. Since alone is in itself is I believe a hugely saleable product espe finally in the volumes they have. Mine 2 is the EV Nickel battery potential one. Currently, unless mistaken, this is not at all priced in. But has again a proven resource yes? So take on board that maybe alternatives will come. But be interested if you see a lack of value here given above, and also that my diversification logic - whilst still leaving a good average in the game here is also flawed. Rgrds. Strumm.

Why not continue to seek out ideas and opportunities? I started buying GGP at 1.6p in mid 2019. I held 7.7 million at Avg 3.61 by mid 2020. But was over invested here. Saw a good addition in HZM. Began careful slicing in the 24s here to finance further there. Along the way derisking completely my large stake and given £250,000 to my kids in hard times to help with mortgage reductions. Still now hold 2.925 million GGP. Still think more to come here true... but also with now 10.86 million HZM at under 5p. What's the problem... they have 2x tier 1 nickel. Needs more finance granted. But this will power EV etc when I am gone I hope & expect, and my kids & gkids will all benefit... plus still almost circa 3 million GGP at 4.41p to see how this rides. Some of you guys on here are smart cookies. But some are still blinkered & need to perhaps realise a world exists outside. And this is from an "insider"...

Hi BackSpace. Oddly I remember Sam the Pilot from GGP board, reading late 2019... yes he was a novice investor desperately trying to finance his licence I recall. Poor guy seemed to hop from share to share - as seems the modern ideom... hitting a brick wall, even if temporary, selling and floating on to the next recommended thing. Losing money every time hand over first. Or so it seemed, which was sad. But also starry eyed and swayed by some very unscrupulous people, who should not have been recommending risky AIM stocks to a newbie. Felt sorry for him. Though ironically if he had stuck with (say GGP) rather than bail at the first sign of retrace, or at the first whisper in his ear of shorter term monies to be made elsewhere... then by now would have had his Lear Jet perhaps? In this regard it did at least teach me a lesson - so to take with the proverbial pinch of salt the views of (for example), the "Sheriff", as hes known by some on GGP. Dear oh dear that guy is a laughing stock make no bones about. It, cant work out if hes paid or just genuine but dangerous. Beware him. Rgrds. Strumm.

I hold decent amounts of three AIM stocks, including HZM, GGP and also a very speculative punt on ROCK. All of which to a greater or lesser are becalmed awaiting news of various kinds. I am up in two. One greatly (GGP), one a bit (here HZM), and well down in ROCK. My tactic has been to let the later ride. Slice a bit of the first and add here (to the second), as mentioned in past posts. But overall in effect to hold confidence that at least the first two have strong fundamentals and that in the case of HZM I have been comfortable with buys over last year or so between 3p and 8p. As I feel that patience will be rewarded for anyone with an average up to that 8.6p odd peak... that is once news is ready. So with a 4.89p average overall I am happy to see this out and wait for financing or buy out to emerge. I have no technical input to make (many strong contributors on here with far greater knowledge than I), other than to say that I do believe "class will out" if we remain calm. Rgrds Strumm.

Had 10.45 mill. Took another 200k at low 6's. Then as predictably GGP showed fantastic latest grades (from the latest NCM update overnight), but failed to really move their price. Sliced another 50k there at 24.16p to very unexpectedly add 210k here in the 5.6s.... better than 1:4 ... crazy price IMO. Holding now 10.86 Mill, and happy to do so frankly. If this takes to Q1 2021 to sort out (finance) then so be it. I still reckon that 10.86 Mill at even the raised Avg of 4.89 will be worth something decent mid term? Rgrds Strumm.

As above heading. This BB has some very knowledgable posters, and several who share info on both this company, but also how the seeimng opaque AIM market operates for people like me (long term investors - 35 years odd, but still relative alternate markets novice). So both these areas of others input are very useful to add to ones own investigations and decisions. However; as is only right, everyone's money and responsibility for the ultimate calls are their own.
I like the detail and enthusiasm of the posts by the likes of Wasa and DJ, Luke, Aim, Olow and so on. But frankly I make my own calls on investing in or out, and so have to accept the consequences. I hold no one but me unaccountable, and other people must do as they must. If a couple of these guys want to sell a few for their own reasons, good luck and no issues from me. I am too busy pondering what will happen to GGP after tonight's NCM results. What to make of the inevitable Scally coming drill results, plus a due (in next 2 months) Haverion MRE.... so do I take more profits there now and add to my 10.45 million here directly. Or do I hold the 3 million odd there and see a big upside on which to maybe slice later..... or what if results or the bigger picture are not good. Then not acting now may mean I lose big chunks of those gains and have no chance to add here ... blah blah. That's the kinda thing I (and everyone) has to constantly evaluate & weigh up. I have only praise for the likes of the posters on this board generally. But in the end one ploughs ones on furrow... I really want to add another 550,000 here to hit 11 mill. But I also see 3 mill GGP at 23-24p odd now as potentially having v large upsides based on the news coming there...or it could crash n burn.... something i have to wrestle with but decide for myself. So no issues with anyone making a differing call to mine presently. That hindsights a wonderful thing hey! ... good luck and rgrds to all.

Personally, I have again taken the opportunity to slice a bit more off my GGP (as it's back in the mid 24p area pending NCM updates due this week). So in effect "exchanged" 85000 GGP stock for 285000 HZM this morning. I feel still that GGP, with Existing and new prospect rilling updates to come will almost ertainly go higher than 24s. But buying in at 7.08p here has as much if not alot more (IMO) to go also - assuming finance gets sorted short to mid term. I still hold 3.015 million GGP at Avg 4.17p. But have now upped my HZM holding to 10.45 million at Avg 4.85p. I am frankly a little surprised to get the opportunity still in the low 7s to add a bit more here. Really value your analysis. But personally like the guys in the saloon with Brenner in Mag 7. Those talking up the prospective hired guy with "all the scars".... one just says... we want the guy who gave him those scars! Same difference to me. Don't care whose selling 10, 20 25k. I like the people (for every seller a buyer etc) picking these up at 7.20 odd. They have head screwed on IMO. Regards Strumm.

As Paul Weller sang in 1978.... This is the Modern World..... ironically strikes me as even truer now in the investment world....? E.g. with all on line and impatience rife it seems real hard for many to take a longer view. I read on another board the other day a punter fedup and frustrated at a share that had increased in value ten fold since Xmas, but stalled a bit for a week or so. This pause had brought him to such angst...! It's crazy. Go hold a share, as I had done for 35 years in one case, then see how you feel. Felt like posting that but didn't. Anyhow its everyone's own call I guess. But I have now topped out at 10.165 million here at 4.79p Avg. I am going to sit it out quietly and trust my analysis and gut feeling on this one I may not make another 35 years. Either in a hold here or life in general sadly. But I am going to try and at least show a bit more attention span than some of the seeming "goldfish" I see trading out and about now. Good luck Reb whatever your strategy. RE Joe. I am 58 and saw him lots of times. A great hero of mine. Gutted when he died in 2002 and wrote to Luce to express what he meant to me and a generation. Not sure what he would have made of my share dabbling however. But in my case it's all more or less gonna end up for the next 2 generations hopefully. So like to think he would cut me some slack.... ? Regards.

Good luck to you and thanks Elise1. It's been a hard call as in original post to switch some funds elsewhere. Selling some to help the kids was a no brainer. But starting over on HZM with a decent chunk of GGP made funds was a tricky call. But I just see something there with EV and all that coming plus x2 proven tier 1 Nickel mines of similar potential as I saw in GGP 12 months ago. Am I right. Dunno, time will tell. As said have still left a decent chunk here as have faith in GH also. See no reason to though only be dogmatic on the one front. Cheers.

Just to say that I find a few people who knock sellers a bit odd? In my case I started buying GGP in July 2019 at 1.6p. By June this year held 7.7 million at Avg 3.61p. I now hold 3.1 million at Avg 4 19p. Avg up a bit as sliced at various points out of 4 dealing accounts etc. But point it I still believe in GGP, and I expect a few people on here would take 3.1 mill at 4.19p... so why slice as I did then at 12, 14, 16, 24 and yesterday some at 22.5. Well basically I put in £277k all told. Gradually took out £250k as wanted to give to kids to help pay mortgages in these crazy times. I also have been building a big position in another share I also believe in (HZM) with the other freed up funds. So shifting the point of investment (holding now 10.1 million there now at Avg 4.79p). I think both GGP and HZM have big futures. The mix has been my choice and aside from helping kids and what's left here and now in HZM. This is all "free money". I will have to accept if GGP sky rockets and my other big pick fails. But i think both will prosper and it's my call to take and accept consequences. Comments by some LTHs here on others "stupidity" by selling with no idea of the plans they have made are frankly pretty shallow. Good luck anyhow. I still have 3.1 million reasons to want this side of my investments to succeed.

During this quieter period my continued strategy has been to add a few more HZM. After the highs of the top 8s. We seem to have settled down into this 6-7 area in what strikes me (in the absence of significant news post initial bank commitments), as a predictable & not atypical slight retrace and consolidation. Look at GGP. Hit 27p on back of large US tracker buy in. Predictably & despite the rampers frnzy then saying one wouldn't be able to buy below 30p... retraced as one expected to 17 odd, and then settled around 20p. Now looking back on a roll in anticipation of more news... back to 22-23s today etc. So opportunity to further slice and add here. Overall I just see HZM similar... hint of news and this will be back 8+ IMO. So buying in at low 6s as i did a few today (145,150 & 15,000 trades were mine), and several 100,000 more mid 7s the other week always strikes me as positions that will, mid term be more than vindicated. Money where mouth is. I now hold 10,165,000 of these at 4.79p avg. I think this is about my limit to be fair, so will probably sit on hands and continue as an investor to follow mid term developments. All the best to the very informative and knowledgable "Nickel" people on this board. GGP where I hold still 3 1 mill claim to be the best informed on LSE. But TBH that's only true of a handful of posters there out of 100 plus. Here most every one has something interesting to learn from, and so credit where it's due. Hi Magic. For the reasons you are probably aware though invested here & GGP choose to post here. But do read that board, and for those into HZM but not GGP. There are amongst the tens of rampers, de dampers, fantasist and fatalists. Not to mention a very weird tea party / cravat wearing n drinking club....about half a dozen people whose views hold a lot of weight for me. Magic as a skilled Geologist is one... so IMHO if you have objective thoughts on the HZM areas I for one would be very interested to hear them. Rgrds Strumm

Since that 122 million share buy at 27 was a UT, and we know to date UTs are irrelevant to what you can buy and sell at on next market open. It drifted down to mid 21s all day. In all past examples that's the range it would open at and you could then trade in. So will that change, cos if not then if some people made a hasty decision to sell based on the MM strategy. They may be able to rebuy in...?

Well I hold 3.145 million GGP. This has been low 22 to mid 21.5p all afternoon. Now a 27p UT. If you know anything. You seriously think you will normally be allowed by MMs and able to sell any at 27 on next trading day.... it don't happen that way people. One rule for them etc.
