Cheers for the opinions on my comments. I suppose my strength is my weakness and vica versa then? I saw a potential good thing also in GGP mid last year after years of main stream lower risk, but lower reward investing. Hit a bit of a fortuitous one there alright. Though not after a lot of thought, & and decided to seek others similar with some of the derived funds that I also saw within that longer term potential. This is cos when I punt I punt so poorly sadly... - ROCK was one of my ill researched alternate "gut" approaches, and it's a self admitted to date total basket case unfortunately. When I don't analyse my "judgement" is poor, which is a quote from Victor Korchnoy I very much relate too! HZM being one though I looked at closer & I saw as still very much having big potential after consideration. Hence my big shift of funds here progressively over the last months. As an investor and less of a day trader (poor at that generally too...) I try to work on the principle that others will also see value early and act accordingly to build a good ground momentum. But as AIM said maybe "AIM" just doesn't seem to work that way in this Twitter driven short termist age !? Hopefully as Wasa said this will mean the butterfly types having to pay lots more later. I still though find the share volumes here (lack of them) logically perplexing & it nags me given the stage we are at.... hey ho. Hope that its their loss in a few months time. Cheers.

Personally I find it a little odd, that with so much potential, with strong news almost certainly coming, & with a good back draft from the green and EV areas. That we still are daily relatively becalmed, & even more than the SP it's the still scant volume of trades thats odd to me - what 2.5 Million or so only today (super insipid really) & it repeats. I still have great patience with this one, but am slightly puzzled that with so many "ducks" lining up that it's not really taking off as yet? I hear all the arguments about waiting for funding and do understand & agree of course. But why would more savvy individuals and even some larger players; in light of the most plausible outcomes be not now in earnest taking positions is my only quarm? Be interested in others views. Rgrds.

As per discusion yesterday on caution. Take DJs point that appears from mid afternoon yesterday there was a clump of 100,000 share buys it appears. However didn't personally see the large background nor UT buyer with a bigger chunk people speculated opon? Volume overall was still pretty low. Be nice for some peoples confidence to see this hold or move up a bit into 7s. Immaterial largely to me in bigger picture as not looking to trade, but as AIM said she has at least shown an ankle but will she reveal more....

Agree AIM.... but a glimpse of stocking would be even nicer ;-)

Let's see where it closes, and more importantly how any small uplift is sustained tomorrow. We are all quick to say that the drop from 8.6 to 5.4 odd was "not justified" in the context of resources and potential. But rises with little decent volume (as today), I treat with a similar scepticism personally. This will take off, but not on the only 4 million odd trades today, even though as in my post earlier I am still gradually buying. ATB. Strumm.

I still remain quietly confident here. As per my past strategy, been slightly pruning some of my GGP and adding here. Now up to 10.95 Mill HZM at now 4.9p Avg. My recent additions in the high 5s to mid 7s have upped my Avg a fair bit. But personally I think a decent number of shares at under 5p overall (which is my kind of pscological barrier rightly or wrongly) will come good in time. I am prepared to wait. All the best to some very informative posters here as always. News before Xmas would be nice, but if after so be it. I see this one as an investment not a day trader for what it's worth. Simply buy the dips if one can organise funds. Cheers.

Be interested also in views from ex SXX investors now in GGP. Why did you guys not hear (or did you) the now seemingly clear concerns. Was it anything to do with the culture if the BB. Or if not, what else stopped people seeing some now seemingly apparent financial home truths? Just interested to see if there is any validity in the thought that fear of not fitting into the prevailing "tone" of a board opened people up to being swept up in the poor outcome.

I read the excellent analysis of the poor plight of SXX v its investors hopes and expectations earlier. Multiple contributorshm here pointed out that were clear warning signs on cash flow that shortlybled to disaster for PIs etc. Also quite reasonably outlining the marked contrast with GGP and its JV and status etc. I certainly buy into all that & as a medium term investor here (from 1.6p) believe we will not see a repeat. But my query is: This GGP board has lots of positive types, all giving a very heavy, and sometime fact based spin, which we all of course frankly as investors wish to here. I never invested in SXX fortunately for me. But have read that their LSE board was equally bullish, not overly tolerent of any questioning blah blah. So is this how none of the now open & clearly factual concerns on accounts, finances and logistics outlined here never made it to help the poor individuals there at the time? Or did they get raised, but were swept away by the ramping crews so prevalent on all ascending AIM stocks. Just wondered if any lessons to learn from those who suffered there and lately moved here? I belive I have good holds in both GGP and HZM that i am personally happy with. But for example a few similar home truths on other more flimsy investments i hold (ROCK), and at the time would have saved potential grief for me. Just musing on any chat board lessons while awaiting MRE and Scally updates as and when. Cheers.

As mentioned to brsb. Had said my piece on ROCK, and as outlined a combination of future results and the Market will decide etc. So was going to do no more posting here unless things materially change. But was tempted, as do like your "Vegus" post Coach, so figured I would expand on his comment to people for info. If you are not also in GGP, this guy holds with his family about 18 mill shares I believe. That still about right Coach? So even at low valued 23 odd p today, and pre Haverion MRE, plus new Scally updates that's a cool £4Mill+ paper valuation & very likely climbing given the GGP futures. So I for one don't presume to argue the toss with him as outlined in my past posts! Respect is what he gets from me. ROCK isn't in the GGP league by a long shot to date of course, and may well never be, and I have outlined why. But as Coach implies you have to start somewhere, and it's perhaps not a wise choice to assume fault in his judgement from his current portfolio choices. TBA Miagi. ;-) Rgrds Strumm

Cheers for constructive inputs all. It's a game of opinions of course. Personally I like my investment here. I like investments in GGP also, and have no axe to grind with reasoned debate from either. On the HZM side be nice to see some update pre Xmas, even if a holding one just to keep people informed would be my only observation. But I have no fears generally that progress will be made in it's own time. ATB to all. Strumm.

Thing is Nige we all have our political views. But unless politics has a direct impact on the relevant share I prefer to keep that to myself. Even if it does impact seems to me it can be discussed rationally without all this angst? The whole thing is about opinions. Theres a lot I don't see or nessecceraily agree with on BBs, but that's life. Input your points if you want to, pickup info you rate off others you rate and move on. It's a BB not life n death. All I would add is that as I said early on Sunday certain individuals seem here to disrupt and cause striff. It's unfortunate but perhaps the price of the recent success as pre the rises it wasnt like that from my view anyhow? However to add to that there are also others that seem intent on arguing round with these people. Who are a bit "inconsistent themselves", so get exposed and then make themselves look equally silly by digging even deeper holes and do it regularly for some inexplicable reason... Hopefully those types may learn to ignore the provocation and avoid a conflict that often goes poorly for them rather than fuel the fire ... I am sure you know the people to whom this refers... But postulated that fast money attracts by implication some people with maybe not the best intentions to others... don't suppose that was popular, but I could back it up via examples that couldn't argue with as many here today gone tomorrow types... rgrds.

Foot in both camps and you are right on both your points. See my post history. I tried to argue that this very morning that reasoned debate not racist conflict was how they used to be... but to only minor support. The site there was toxic mist if day... no fun..

His main jist of views were:
One trick Pony. Reliant on Nickel price to stay up. GGP by way of his example is of course known for Gold. But has ranges of other metals also in short supply and in volume. Far safer...
EVs to go strongly eventually Hydrogen. Hence his strong investment in likes of ITM from very low base to where it is now and beyond he thinks etc.
Talk of withholding Nickel concentrate from China could pull down price that may upend HZM finance monies - see Nickel price issues above?

Above is just what I gleaned. As said he is a V sharp investor and had a few responses from others there saying if he wasnt biting here nor were they. I put forward as positive a spin as I could, and had a bit of backing. But of course BBoards tend to be tribal, and as GGP has flown and most there think will again other shares get a short hearing of course...
I am not supporting any of his views, save that I think his ITM call will be a good one like term, and at the price he paid early last year hes already probably many 100s if % up and that will probably go higher. But it was just interesting to hear his views.

Personally I am invested fairly large to last out events. Clearly with SP seemingly now range trading awaiting news, and obviously that news has to be progress on funding etc. I wanted to see if people can outline blockers here? Clearly Covid may delay. Nickel price collapse also. But otherwise what are the issues in peoples views? The measured resource in the ground for the two big potential mines seems well in excess of what's needed to spin a large profit as it stands. Assuming Nickel price remains viable. So any other significant blockers? Just asking as I had a discussion with a very respected investor on the GGP board, and he was very like warm about HZM. Clearly his opinion is not fact. But I know he has made alot of money and his calls at very low buy in prices - GGP, ITM etc and been v astute. Just curious given the current slow period on thoughts. Not a negative post. Hey Mickey. "Board is best about GGP".... agree mate & after last few days, that's definitely a sentiment that makes you once again come across with that all elusive in recent times here... 'definable charm'... I am even starting to accept that £1.44 a share...;-) Cheers Strumm.

I started reading this board in mid 2019. Never seen this type of bullitenboard before, and though invested in shares for 35 years was dipping toe into AIM shares for first time. Researching Gold and stumbled into GGP & this LSE posting area. It kinda inspired me. Was a smallish hardcore of far more knowledgeable types than me, who posted freely about this share and have fairly level headed analysis I liked. Obviously Paddy, but a number of others. Jersey, Jerry etc...Part due to them I took positions. Then as year drew to a close and share started to show signs of life the mega rampers arrived. You know the Oidtimer1963s, the JohnnyEvans, Goldinvestors, Silverbackboy and so on. The good stuff became harder to sift. I kept going as it was still there amongst the pro and sometimes anti drivel. Seems now, & as the share grows in success it's got quite nasty. Attracting mud slingers, More rampers, more de rampers, and those that just cant resist, or desist from an argument. I sliced some here as mentioned before for my kids in Summer, and for another interesting investment - HZM. That board (so far) is like this was 16 months ago. But for how long I do wonder. How long before all this starts, if/when success arrives... pretty sad really. I still mostly read here for the good sensible stuff. But the rest.... not for me I am afraid.

Agree Jambo... at least Mickey "ramps" with a definable charm. Some others are totally trader & own dubious agenda led...
