Sympathies if Nige is in a bad shape RW126. I held TW some time ago. Never posted here, but read his inputs with interest. They were always measured and analytical.

I also came across him on the GGP area, as we both held there for a similar time. Again his views were always gentlemanly but somehow all the more persuasive for it. A rare combination in that share - where things often get a bit vitriolic and defensive. His method though was the polar opposite of how he came across, and is to his credit. I also know that Tome and Bamps who post there also were his mates. So appreciate their feelings today. I posted these comments on TW. as GGP is it's now usual weekend bear pit, and respect would be no doubt be lost in the type of noise Nige would find rightly distasteful.

P.S. I also sometimes followed Niges view that one day Nano would recover by winning its case v Samsung, and he would see a huge pay off on those depressed shares for his family. Even if he doesnt now see it sadly. I very much hope his family does in his memory.

I kinda think back to pre online BB days, where if the average person invested in shares it was via paper n mail exchanges or from work schemes. A lot were big FTSE etc. There wasnt then the opportunities, nor perhaps the pitfall of the constant social media barrage of (To miss-quote Elvis C) "This weeks model".... So us normal people were not so tempted to chase about and chop n change weekly.

In terms of AIM I only hold a very small no of pitches. But can make a case to myself for several others almost daily. A few of which have rocketed frustratingly in the last few weeks, and by human nature I question myself... However I try and talk sense into myself also. I could sell some here, buy more there. Fiddle a bit in or out... blah blah.

It becomes a game, like gambling more not investing. I guess you have to see a limit else your a share 'oholic. Each person has thier own needs, family, bill's whatever. So all this bull about hold till the end is as myopic as the chop change every day in my eyes. Each to there own it has to be. I just try and be driven by decent fundamentals (as far as I can see them at any rate) when investing.

Plus most importantly the overriding concerns that run my life, and those I care about. Example is GGP. I held 7.7 Mill at a very low avg. But sliced as i wanted money for my kids mid 2020. If j had held more.... well who cares. Plus for this share as liked the story here and saw a sensible diversification for some profits out of a very lucky run. So ... who cares also... Of course far I am out of pocket strictly speaking as 7.7 Mill there at a recent 38.5p peak & on a mid 3p Avg... well, sure we all can do the maths if hadn't sold off 5 mill last year...So giving money away and the balance in here wouldn't I dare say impress an accountant. But so what!

Some things are more important than pure money. I intend to slice more as a priority when my kids need it. Be it GGP, HZM, ROCK ( not that there's much money in that) etc. If not under that pressure will let things ride, especially here. HZM is so interesting I want to see how it pans and so its likely my last slicer. But not so hypocritical to say I wont take some from here if I have to.

Hi Lethal. We chatted briefly on the ROCK bb I believe, when we discussed that shares very up and down past hopefully honestly, and to be wary of some of the ramping crews etc? IMO this one is different. Some of the guys on here have already given you some good info. There is also some excellent summaries in the last day or so of the projects here on ADFN if you want to read more? I am not a mining expert compared to many on here. But all I would say to you is that in my view this share has great potential as long as currently being negotiated final funding occurs (think it will). Difference to ROCK is that this has proven resources to work on. Not just hopes of them and is far less susceptible to the P&D traders as a result. I have put my money where mouth is and my investment here is x15 times cashwuse to what I have in that share. Good luck if you choose to go further. Cheers.

Not when a market maker tells me..... is my thoughts. I once held 7.7 Mill here at Avg 3.61. I now hold 2.725 Mill. Not because an MM scared me.... I took £250k out in the summer. Not much difference to my stake. To give to the kids to help in the crazy times. I sliced more on the way up as I really liked another investment too - HZM. That's going pretty OK at the moment. But was my call and I will profit or suffer by my own hand...I continue to hold a reasonable amount here as see this also has plenty to run. But as an investor I try and review fundamentals and not what the day to day prices do in cohorts with these sometime tricky MMs. Just my view. Cheers.

I also had a fiddle about on iweb yesterday afternoon to try and gauge what was happening. There at least, when the spread was tighter at 8.5 v 8.6 they wouldn't let me sell even 5k shares without NT. I also struggled with test buys of hardly any proportion. So they didn't want my money and they wouldn't take any off me either. Could only conclude they were filling orders and had plenty of reserve? Later when spread widened to 8.4 v 8.7 iweb would let me sell 300k shares at 8.48 if I wanted (I dont!) Before going to NT... and would also start to sell me a fair few in high 8.6s... I see this pattern a fair bit on testing AIzm shares? I come from a Ftse investing background, so find the way MMs here work a little hard to fathom. But above has been my experience in more than one. To me at the mo it's only my academic inquisitiveness really on how these types operate. I know what happened and how liquidity fluctuated on my GGP stock. So just test casing another hopefully strong riser. Be useful data when this hits the 25p plus for me hopefully... cheers.

Please be careful here. Reading this BB over the last few days there is a strong similarity to 14 months ago. Differing names mostly, but a P&D set then certaiinly came in to view & we have gone over what happened in detail to this share in the months that followed. See my posts in my history. I see the share price here again spiking on an RNS then falling back despite (or perhaps related?) to a number of posters suddenly appearing and firing out 50 or so posts in a few days. All designed to stir up FOMO perhaps? Course all this attention may turn out genuine. But as someone holding 2 Mill here and needing over 2p to break even.... Have seen a bit of this previously as you know.... so DYOR and believe all this 2-4p and so on when/if it ever actually can hold off the trader killing zone for more than half a day.... Take care.

Interesting, will seek it out Jet ta. My recollection is that Joe had his ear bent by Bernie Rhodes as the later wanted his famous "Complete Control" and Mick stood in the way. That plus Joe was getting a bit cheese off with Mick beginning to be the moody pop star that they weren't supposed to become? Cheers for info.

I probably dont qualify TFG as a long term holder, as only had GGP since Aug 2019 and the 1.6p days. But personally I wish not just LTHs, but all holders good luck.....

Personally looking foward to a good positive SP impact of some strong Scally news soon. Either way though, will give people something new to talk about rather than the frankly pretty self indulgent & endless essays (pro & anti) on a done deal that now cant be changed for better or worse in any case.

Your a nice bloke Wasa. I judge people as I find them, and you are a clearly sharp (perhaps abit verbose at times... ;-) ) investor, but seem a throughly decent chap. You know what one alludes to here however here, I am sure... but are far too diplomatic to come down one way or the other. Bless you... As to AIM. No axe to grind. He's a Jack Russell on this share, knows this market far better than most all of us, has my respect, and we kinda know where his views lean I guess. All on same side at end of day, as sure we all feel... Truth is that owning 500k, 8 or 12 or 24 Mill of these we have all picked a star.... ATB.

We chatted a few months back. All I said then & repeat, is that this share has not had yet proven any sustainable or minable figures. Check out the grades at Haverion for GGP by way of comparison...and its agreed JV with Newcrest if you want a reference. ROCK has nothing in that ball park to date. Also, it takes millions to build a mine and process it. So 200 junior miners find "something" perhaps, but only 1 can get it out of the ground even if grades are good. Thats something that few on here will disclose to you... so far DP has talked the talk, but with nothing remotely close to meeting a) grades, b) critically how to mine and commercialise it... hes only ever presided over that Traders killing zone I have in the past referred to. It takes 5 years plus to scale,permit and industrialised a mine. Assuming you have a proven resource... which at present they dont. That's a big ask for a company that so far has been by manys thoughts been a Swiss Cheese setup. E.G. drill many holes and raise expectations, while paying the execs lifestyles but little else from the share rises... again hope I am wrong. But unfounded optimism of a SP rise from .6p to .9p....
When its repeatedly tumbled from 2.3p in free fall therafter in the past makes little logical investor sense Again TBH...

But all I am saying is that AIM despite being a really switched on type regarding this market and share. Seems very much anti some types here for what ever reason. I would be interested why. If I regard his views (which I do), I would like to understand why in his opinion I need to be wary of others thoughts here? That's all... Not interested in cryptic clues, let's be adult and open..

Really hope this share finally finds some worthwhile & sustainable grades... gold or copper. As discussed with bruptsboy some months back. It's been a lemon & only a traders paradise for 14 months. Every rise post 1p has been slaughtered by day traders back to .6p each time... Why.... simply as there has to date been 0% market confidence in the story to sustain it. That's the truth sadly. Nevertheless,
Would love to think that the upcoming JORC will change that. As invested here to a decent level still be great to see more therefore than the usual traders P&D, rinse and repeat and as someone said on another board... a re polishing of this old t*rd.... Here's hoping...

As you imply, should always have a healthy scepticism for some of the veneated, & espoused LTH types on any board - so yes 100% beware... But then again, & as you say, PGall on GGP, as is in 35 years investing for me, is perhaps the best exception to that rule in my mind. He rates with me no question. But leaving that aside , please again, & dont hide behind waffle here .... Your a direct guy clearly. Be direct.... you,me, and several others think we will in time have a winner here, all agreed. But if there are those giving advice here that need to be regarded with due caution. Do please let people kindly know who they are? 3rd time of asking, and as HNZ moves on very much think newbies coming on board need to know....?

You speak a lot of sense. But your posts are always a bit barbed. You never answered my query a couple of weeks ago, though allude to it in your "selling down" today.... In a still fairly illiquid share (as this remains). Do you see a few major posters here as... as trustworthy?

HZM is usually fairly easy on the offer, but very illiquid on the bid. So far today itherway round oddly. I can test sell several 100,000 shares pretty easily at 7.28. Which us unusual. If hard to buy then suspect one or more largish fill orders going through?

What I find interesting on this BB, as opposed to some other commodity / metal explorers, is that people embrace differing view points without generally many major fall outs. E.G. Flavour says we should, by mirroring what we have v proven GGP be about 96p.... that gets 14 odd recommends (wishful thinking perhaps?), but no arguments. PP says he's more thinking 14 odd p in a year hence. So far a single recommend. But no arguments. Imagine the response from the "cult" followers & share protectors on many boards.... up roar... but not here. Which is cool. Personally by end 2021, 14p would somewhat disappoint me have to say. Though no issues with the view. But as someone famous once said "I will still defend PPs right to take that stance to the end" - paraphrasing of course. Equally, I find Flavours (admittedly not time bound) near a quid, v hard to imagine anytime foreseeable. But again, have no issues with him postulating same. Especially as when GGP outturned 2019 at 1.8p, no way could I see 36.9p end of 2020...
My own view is that 2021, with a decent finance deal and other progress may see HZM circa 25p odd by end of year. But with a lot of profit taking and upward jolts along the way. So reckon that's just it. Game of opinions. Cheers to all.

Personally not too bothered by a swing between 6.15 to 7.1 unless there is volume. Otherwise it's just day to day and MMs making a marketing noise I suggest? News will build n drop hopefully in 21. Till then hold, and maybe add (if funds) on the predictable dips. Happy New Year to all.

Red. You sell, you pay potential CGT. Depends on the purchase price(s) v anysection 104 holding. Or if you re buy within 30 days to match there etc. Pretty easy, just read HMRC rules... The people you gift can die next day. Makes no odds. It's only if you "Longshot kick the bucket" in 7 years. Then the gifts are back with your estate. Gov may take from you RE IHT if your estate exceeds limit thereafter. HTH.
