Hold 1 million in ISA (Avg 5.57 - not touching these).

But also 1.725 Million in share dealing acc @ Avg 3.59p

Would like to move around 80k of latter to ISA. Doing maths this is max I can bed n ISA on that average to keep within new tax year 12300 profit etc.

Thats all clear.

But my query (if anyone in same situation). Is, what's best way? Clearly auto requesting this will work, but at mercy of currently a largish spread. Say bid .188 to ask.195 odd.

My thought was to maybe do in manually. Here I assume price may spike up on new fin year ISA adds. But then drop off in a couple of days possibly? Thats then a chance to use the share dealing funds and buy back in ISA a bit lower & to avoid the wider auto spread perhaps?

Dunno if it's worth the out of market risk for 20k invest though, & clearly if price climbs up over week then this strategy isnt too smart.

Just musing pre tax year start, any views on prices over next few days gratefully accepted as input.

Yep sure agree, auto bed n ISA is the relatively power risk clearly. But then again this hasn't taken off as a few of us thought when it hit 10.1p... so worth a thought for new ISA week I figured....

Dont usually do trading deals. But filling in time here awaiting the main event I guess... have to admit a bit bored perhaps, whilst still clearly seeing the long term value here...

Sure clearly understand "auto" bed & Isa. Maybe didn't make myself clear.

Point was. Maybe aim to do it manually.... as if a spike on new money thinking sell less shares, but for more. Leave funds for a few days n if it retraces after start of fin year blip up, then can buy more back & now in ISA from original sold capital etc.

Hence looking for opinions from past years on a quick rise n retrace start fin year, or if a steady rise maybe more likely - in which case no value in the manual route obviously...

Just musing pre the finance package news, asthat seems a little way off still most likely.

I am, in the admittedly fortunate situation, such that if the SP meanders around 7.1p I can bed n ISA about 340k odd shares out of my overloaded trading acc into the new 20k monies single ISA account before I hit CGT 12300 (avg out of share dealer acc is circa 3.55p) new allowance.

I would very much prefer (and had hoped us) at a solid and regularly bought into 10p TBH by now. But with the last year, we are where we are for now.

Anyhow, my small issue is; will we see a price spike on just this.... ISA buy in's for a day or perhaps more. Or will it be a fast n damp pfut and a quick return to where we are now... just still awaiting off takes/finance progress etc.

So basically do we wait and see it up then down fast... or do people see this perhaps rising for a decent time due to an extended tax year 2021-22 bounce?

Therefore does one aim to sell n repurchase fairly directly or wait a few days/weeks for it to settle back down..

No right answers clearly, but just nterested in any hunches?

I think given situation in Brazil, the global FIAT currency uncertqinty etc, this the only sensible approach personally.

As said before I set Sept (giving JM a full extra Q) as my own milestone a while back to gather all the info and see where we have got too. I think that's a fair compromise, as an investor by nature.

I have held and added since late 2019. So given the road map outlined for some time now. Around 2 years in to my first investment I will be looking for some clear progress.

Just my approach. Till then I am prepared to hopefully be pleasantly surprised at any point hopefully.

If you just like to invest, and as part of your research take on board useful and unbiased info on a share. Circa 2019 the GGP BB was a great place. It's now a painful read from either side. I saw the below on another BB and it sums it up for a lot of us simple investors. Wish the pumpers and the de rampers would fight elsewhere!

"Cannot work out who are the most dangerous posters for PI's to listen to..the hype crew 'You'll all be buying a tropical island on Monday' or the shorters 'You won't be able to afford a tot of rum by the end of the day' The' overboard's and the' weigh anchor' extremists are costing lowly investors their hard earned pieces of eight. Best advice is to ignore both and to stay in the calm waters where common sense prevails. My experience is BB's take more money from the poor than the often blamed MMs"

Yeah that was pretty much what I knew.
Remember originally that JM wanted to announce all in one go, but later it was a little less clear, and implied offtake may come ahead.

I guess if it was planned for the latter part by end of Q1 we havnt long to wait.

To me this was a 95%er, but Covid and the wider macro economy have had a say clearly.

As mentioned before, & as a result of this, I am happy to reassess end of Q3 where we have gone. Until then sitting on hands. But do feel the BOD will need to start explaining where we are by then at very latest. Else suspicions will be raised...

Dont dip in here as often now, as want to give this time to get to finance agreed. But still holding and believe potential is still good.

As havnt been quite keeping up, does anyone know if we are now due offtake info by start of new fin year. Or has it been likely put back due to the situation in the world?

Asked query, as my broker is iweb - so Halifax basic account in reality. Cheap, but cheerful...They are pretty quick to NT usually unfortunately when there is a big collector already on the Ask in background.

If I do buy more it will probably be circa 500k+ shares.

Normally could get just about that with them on normal liquidity. But clearly this situation not normal. So just wondering.

If I move funds to here, and there is big background buyers that will likely mean that MMs wont be interested in my monies to buy off them, so would like to know from experiences how much they are allowing PIs to get at the mo please?

Saw, to be honest, not much. But still a lot of mud slinging between the pro & anti camps.

Why not just all shut the h*ll up all unless posting thought through data. Find something to do all day other than dribble on hourly over the price etc.

Come back in 6 months (September touch base is my target on this, and another of my larger shares mentioned also here by some - HZM) and only then will we see who's right ...

If you believe the fundamentals, then this will be 40p plus by then, just as the pro investors claim.

If its always been an over priced penny share, as the anti mob say. It will be single figures by then.

Time will out.... and save poor in the middle readers a lot of wasted life reading the barneys....

I hope you are proved right mate.

If you know anything about this share you will understand that it's got a literny of False Dawn's and thus unfulfilled promises from the BOD.

IMO It still desperatly needs proper well thought out comms, and most importantly a sustainable road map to get it to more than just the lifestyle trader driven rise and retrace share it's been for several years.

This share has also been very much susceptible to the paid or otherwise PnD crews. That's why a number of people are very wary of "new" bold statements.

So the last little set of such enthusiasts I noticed have had one of thier leaders (Sipptrader) blitzed off LSE. He was called out here by a few for ramping and posting off multiple accounts. He then spent 2 days disruptive deramping on a far more active BB. Namely GGP, where the more strident than here types I can only assume not only got his posts removed day, but persuaded LSE to in the end zap his whole account! Noticed this as all his recent rampy stuff here also got removed at the same time...

So just to say, think people will try and give benefit of doubt. But with the troubled history of some of these AIM setups .... just to be aware..

See my other post. She will be using the full loss to offset the bed part CGT from what you say. But if not all loss used up to stay within 12300 profit at bed n ISA time. Then as said declare the left over "allowable loss" to the HMRC and then you can use it to offset gains elsewhere in a future tax year.

Oh on CGT, just thought of something else I had done in past that may be useful. Xfer some shares that are loss making to wife. Then if needed she can sell these to offset larger than the 12300 limit gains elsewhere (hopefully GGP etc) To avoid the tax. Obviously only worth doing if the sacrificing shares are not going to go anywhere. Also write to HMRC, and/or add to tax return if you fill one for the losses if you do sell. If not all used up, but declared. You can use whats over in upcoming tax years to offset future gains. That's a useful one to know. They dont die. Like for an example an ISA Allowance does each fin year if not used.

Cant advise sorry. Fairly up on the tax wrinkles for CGT etc as had to "discuss" with HMRC a few times....
But never had a SIPP, only ISA's so havnt looked into the pros n cons side of it comparison I am afraid.

Xfers between spouses are not rated for CGT. So in effect if you paid £2 on avg for the shares in a section 104 holding, that's the starting base cost.They remain at that regardless of the price on day. CGT is only possibly due if and when she sells them, & its assessed against that original base cost relative to what she gets for them & taking into account the CGT allowance level. Currently 12300. This is for share dealing to share dealing accounts of course nothing to do with ISAs. Of course if that first holding has had shared sold and bought back within 30 days... it changes the original base cost later on for you wife when she sells. But that's a more complex wrinkle. A standard section 104 keeps it simple...

Saw you expose the Lib, SippTrader link...... so seems that Lib posts a "I am new here, but here is a big ramp....". In fact checking his post history, ecact same story & method on several shares BBs, if people care to look !.... really blatant.

Then you GBP though as you expose Sipptrader supporting him, then Lib responds but signs off as Sipp !!... rookie error for ch*ist sake...! These guys are one in the same clearly...

Then Sipp talks about him, Lib, and the known ramper BankruptSBoy.... making up more b*llocks it seems to try and justify the nonsense...

& Meanwhile share prices falls away further to 0.8p...

Clearly then needs the rampers back then to lift the price shortly for another 20%+, as their masters will be buying again now we assume.

Its truely depressing ... was always clear BSB was a trader, but I got fooled by Sipp, as he seemed reasonable in a sensible dialogue a few weeks back. But now signing off on anothers post that are supporting each other ...... jeez...
