Hi OM.
I wasn't going to post anymore, as had said what I felt etc.
But something you mentioned in your short response intrigued me.
You seem to be saying that in short order the next significant SP change will be a rerate, not the usual sold into spike and return. That the catalyst will be these cores below 500m seeking out the Ore body. If I read this correctly?
OK. So let's assume they have gone through the top cover to these depths and beyond and find it. Assume that, as I have said in the past they get multiple strong widths, grades and good intersects etc.
Now to be fair one thing I did hope for, even as a non mining engineer, was relatively shallow depths to allow for an Open Pit setup ultimately.
So correct me by all means. But if they chase this down to the significant Ore at 500+ depths. Are we not talking about a different scale of extraction needed? I know that GGP are very happy at these depths and more, as they have Newcrest on board with strong block caving expertise etc
But those methods of extraction are technically complex and expensive are they not?
Which alludes to my question....
Finding a good resourse is hard enough. But scoping and financing how to exploit it is where most juniors fall flat, even if they get a good one.
I mentioned all this in my post talking about, what then... So JV, sell the asset, fund raise, dilute or loans to mine it yourself etc.
To get a rerate that holds and isn't sold into, rinse and repeat I hope we agree buying pressure is needed to override the day traders (again something I mentioned before).
Surely to get that buying pressure and a re rate rather than a spike next up we need a saleable business plan. A proper commercial proposition. Something people, instos, funds whoever will buy into?
So I hadn't expected that to come for some time. Mainly as until that geology is scoped for an MRE etc. Until we know the depths etc. How can we know the method and cost or even viability of extraction.
Sounds to me that you understand this, as you are saying rerate next and quickly... So be interested if you can explain how buyers will be convinced, even with strong drill cores. When we haven't got to the stage of the extraction plan/method. How its done, who does it, how it costs in. If at all etc.
If all that's been published and planned in then I certainly missed it.
Just something that is a logical follow up after what you say will happen that maybe most on this bb understood. But it puzzled me?
Cheers.
