hmmmm interesting move to do it now. I mean they can't turn it round that quickly, or bring it forward because of Shadow. If they did its a bit desperate and does suggest they may be looking to distract from something.

Nice rise, but this has always been on the cards for a while and actually expected a bigger fanfare rather than just slipping out an RNS in the wake of a big short attack.

hahaha I'm only joking Peeps! Its just because you always say the opposite.

Very out of the blue attack. Undecided on their stance, but you can't deny that the report will do some damage, purely out of people feeling that Boo was near all time highs and why take the risk. Does look scarily similar to how the whole Quindell debacle happened, but in fairness to Boo the profits are real from selling real produce unlike Quindell which was all smoke and mirrors. My entry point will change depending on circumstances. I may trade it actually with some of this volatility, but will have to be super careful.

I think possibly £2.80 if it pulls back naturally between updates.

But super cautious on wider Macros at the moment. I just cant see Boo being immune to the bigger picture. I still think there is growth, but not at the rates expected, which is why the board is being cautious on guidance.

Actually been making some good money on Bitcoin, but looking for more long term stable equities for the SIPP.

1. Peoples comments on here have NO effect on the share price. Institutions move share prices.

2. The point of the boards are to discuss the risks and potential of investments. Not shouting down anyone who doesnt agree with you.

3. A millionaire would not be posting about celebrities wearing dresses first thing in the morning.

4. For someone that invested so early, you haven't posted much before.

5. You ignored any potential risks in the RNS. Re-read it.

Still well done to those who held, especially if anyone bought in when it hit £1.20ish. What a trade!

I'm still not temped to buy at the mo, its just had to good a run to get in now. If it does keep going up, then i will just have to settle for missing out.

I just can't help thinking that all the cancelled events (Festivals, gigs, etc etc ) will impact the level of growth in the short term. However if people still keep buying at the level they do, then it really is a golden share.

Good luck to any new entrants, but do beware of anyone posting who is NOTHING but positive and doesn't consider any risk as its just not realistic and they won't be around when you have lost your hard earned cash.

Nice profit Chancers! I held my nerve with my SIPP and made all the loss back and some profit, but took it out.

I'd much rather bank that profit and diversify my investments more. I was way too exposed on one share and the whole Covid situation proved that.

There is something fishy about this rise as the numbers were largely expected and the outlook was vague and cautious. I thought the Market invested on forward potential so maybe there is speculation on some acquisitions.

I'm also not sure if the Market really is factoring in the likely hit to GDP, jobs, incomes the fact that the government will need to raise Taxes to re-coup all this funding. With that and the fact that all events are cancelled for the summer I think the purchasing of mainly lounge wear will be short lived.

If this rise is based on Boohoo saying "sales in April are up Year on Year" then I would be sceptical. Its likely that they would be purely because the Brand is so much bigger this year than last year and the fact that people have no choice to shop online, but this is by no means a basis for looking forward, more just a snippet to appease institutions.

I'd imagine it will be hitting shorts radars as the Valuation gets ahead of itself so for me its just not a time to be in it. I may re-invest when the price is more acceptable or the future is clearer, but for now i'm hunting around for other opportunities.

I bailed on the day it was plummeting 25%+. Pulled out at £1.50 and saw it go to £1.30ish, but didn't have the b*lls to get back in so sitting on a big loss in my ISA. Basically lost all profit from 3 years of trading / investing in this share.

There is a fine line between 'Cutting your losses' and 'Don't panic sell' lol

SIPP is down, but I haven't touched it as its a long term investment so sure I will see it recover by the time I retire (30 yrs away lol)

Looking for an entry again, but not sure now is the right time. I think sometimes you have to admit you have missed a rise and wait for a better price to get back in or accept you missed the boat.

I like the fact they have a lot of capital on the balance sheet to weather this for the short term and that people will still order clothes, perhaps to make themselves feel better in a sh*t situation and that despite not being able to go anywhere people will still shop as its what the British public do, whether its essential or non essential.

One thing is for sure though is that Boohoo will surely have to revise growth downwards even if just for this year. Unfortunately they won't be totally immune to the situation especially if this does cause a recession / downturn so not sure where the share price should / will sit at fair value or even on the expensive side.

Lastly, as usual Citadel have massively exploited the drops and were a huge contributor to most of the 10% + drops over the last few weeks.

FCA should really jump on these practices in times like these. If you look when they sold and covered it coincides with all the drops and rises so they have been massively manipulating this share. Keep an eye on them the sh*ts.

This is the correction everyone has been waiting for to continue playing the game. It was always going to be something and the Virus is it. The news will turn next week or the week after to say that cases are falling and its been contained and then the markets are going to turn in a ridiculous fashion. We can debate about the economic impact of this, but Boo will continue to grow, continue to sell clothes and the share price will return back over £3.00. Looking for a £2.70 entry, but if its looking like the markets are turning sooner, I will jump in at any price below £3.00. I always ask myself that if the balance sheet is till solid and the investment case is still there as far as growth is concerned then can I really not see it moving back to previous highs??? With that in mind I am also happy to wait years as a long term investment. The real consideration is, are there any other stocks that can offer such a compelling risk / reward ratio? The stock markets as they have proved will always bounce back because if it doesn't the worlds elite won't make money.

New short declared on the 16th. Not seen any for a while. Sold out just before results, so missed out on the 5% rise on the day, but secured a profit and meant I didn't have to stress on the day. lol Wonder if the market is viewing this as slightly overvalued at present or realise that there won't be much news flow for a while. They are such a pain though.

I guess if you are happy with the fundamentals then you may has well just hold through it, which are pretty stunning, but I'm always conscious of one slight margin drop or any whiff of revenue slowing and this will drop hard. Looking for an entry around £2.80 / 90 for the medium to long term.

Still not sure why the Directors sold before Christmas when they knew they were smashing targets... it really upsets the share price lol Although it did allow some people to sneak in at £2.60ish, lucky b*ggers!

Not been on here for a while, hope you are good. Never a dull moment with Boo is it. Have been trading it on an off last few months and made some nice extra pocket money with ISA Capital and have left the SIPP untouched invested. Hovered around the sell button at £3.15, but told myself not to make the same mistake and sell too early..... lol Really didn't see the Director sells coming, well not to that extent so watched an £8k profit shrink to £300 ish in a matter of days. I don't think the sells are at all a reflection of the health of the company, in fact its going from strength to strength. I just see it as the natural evolution of the companies growth whereby Mahmud will take a step back from ownership and rightfully pass it on to institutions etc. If I was 55 and already ridiculously rich I would probably cash out sooner rather than later. It was just the timing that was unfortunate having broken £3 barrier. Difficult to see where this will bottom out, but looking forward to seeing how the new acquisitions are performing in Jan. Good broker upgrades so, will just trade it back up to £3 and leave SIPP in as usual. Just need to put in a stop loss this time I think.

Looks like its trying to bite at £2.40. Seriously thought this was going sub £2.00 but it didn't and the shorters came and went briefly. All looking good. Some beautiful weather for UK sales and a cheap pound should be boosting the US side of things. SIPP looking good, but it never reach my target to go in with ISA capital. Hope it breaks £2.40 today!

Fall in the morning, slight rise then fall into the afternoon. Very typical Boo pattern in between results. With more than 2 months to go before an update there is plenty of time for major short interest, summer volume drops, Brexit / political changes moving markets.

I would say back to £1.70s as the bottom to buy. Nothing negative to say about the company itself but it only sways on updates otherwise its a steady downward trend.

Not the hottest summer ever, but still expect good sales figures. Lets hope the Margins hold up.

Will buy in when the times right, but from experience we are no where near at an attractive entry point.

So funny how quiet this board gets and then on results day and a few days after its buzzing. Are they really all just short-term speculators?

This drop is inevitable, but at some point it will become an opportunity. At this rate very likely below £2.00.

With the wait until September and Brexit coming back into focus Shorts will be back soon enough. Boo has not given any exciting / useful RNS' between updates for ages so wait for the drop to fully bottom out and as a tip its usually lower than you think. Then 3 to 4 weeks before the update it will start to turn as speculation builds. Love Island and the weather picking up will certainly provide for robust sales.

Also bear in mind that MMs / Institutions know they can only make money from the volatility of the ups and downs rather than letting it go up and up to where the P/e just gets ridiculous.

So in summary, just follow trends of the big buyers.
