I think that HARL is being positioned so that in the unlikely event that Scotland votesfor independence they have options other than Scotland to build ships.

For me the most important take away which you would be forgiven is that it says that what will be transferred is Shipyard 5.0 and not as previously suggested Shipyard 4.0. It could be a typo but I doubt it. That means HARL will be getting the upto date version which can only make HARL even better placed to fulfil orders.

I am looking at net profits for those two years of £8m which on a PE of 12 will give earnings per share of around 55p. From 2025 onwards I am assuming that profits are £100m which on a PE of 12 will give earnings per share of 69p.

For my amusement I looked at the P/E ratio of BAB and it was just over 9. I then checked the P/E Ratio of BAe and it was 15. Does anyone know what the value of HARL would beif it had a P/E Ratio of 12 which is the average of the two.

Unless the JR has been reserved to a particular judge there is no way of knowing who the judge will be. It follows that you cannot say with absolute certainty what the decision will be so it is not a done deal.
