I suspect that part f the reason for the drag on the share price is that people are expecting and are keeping the share price low to force any placing to be around the 18p -20p mark I do not believe that a placing is likely certainly not in H1 and probably not in H2 either. However the persistence of these rumours are not helpfully. Indeed the fact that they are made on this board with any factual basis and possibly repeated on twitter seems to be giving them credence. We should keep to facts.

Although this was not the subject of an RNS, a point I have raised with HARL with no response, on the 13 January HARL increased their facility with Riverfort to $100m. In addition there is normal trading which in respect of ship repairs has picked up in the last week or so. While not totally discounting a placing I do not expect a placing at a discount during H1.

I have not kept previous lists of significant shareholders so I am not sure if any of the other significant shareholders have sold shares. I suspect some may have.

RichardMcV ref 10.12 post I agree with you a good example is the Excalibur which is a jack up platform which is according to Belfast Harbour website currently in dock for all of February. It would be nice to have some information what it is in for. It might be its five year classification society survey or something else. Also the ex HMS Atherstone which was acquired for spare parts for the HMS Quorn conversion before being repurposed but we have never been told what it is being repurposed to or how much it has been sold on for.

If you are referring to FSS only if you had read the RNS that HARL would receive £25m this year in relation to pre construction works and another £25m next year for the same thing.

Jrlomax ref 08.46 post I would most respectfully disagree. The 2024 revenue guidance was for revenues in excess of £200m. It was also stated that at that level HARL should be in a position to pay dividends. That guidance is still in place. While the 2022 guidance was not met my back of a *** packet calculations is that the 2023 guidance of £100m -£115m will be met.

In addition the target share price for 2022 in the LTIP indicates an increase in the share price above 30p is expected. So taking all that into account I do not see how a buy out even if one would get regulatory approval is in shareholders medium term interests.

LSE03 ref 14.34 post I am not sure what your views and do not actually care but this Bill is going nowhere and there are a couple of reasons for this. This is a Private Members Bill so can only be debated on a sitting Friday. Today is its first reading. The next stage will be the Bill's second reading when I fully expect it to be talked out. By this I mean it will be listed third or fourth on the Order Paper. Then the Bill listed first will be debated for three or four hours, The Bill listed second will be debated for the rest of time allocated. As there will be no time to debate it the Speaker will ask that the Bill be read a second time without a debate somebody will object so it will have to listed for a second reading on another day as there are enough sitting Fridays left it will fail.

SYN00GOLD ref 14.59 post As explained in the RNS to get the LTIP shares the share price has to remain at that price for 90 trading days ending on 31 December. So basically the share price has to hit the target price and remain there from September 1.

I note that to put it politely both HARL and Cenkos appear to be low keying it. With other RNSs we have had a brokers note the same day. More of a deal was made of the signing of the manufacture contract than the sub contract. This is despite the sub contract news has more of an impact than the manufacture contract. In the past we would have at least some press reaction but we do not appear to have any this time. When the preferred bidder status announcement was made JW was doing a tour of all the shows not this time. I think the reaction or lack of it may be down to the poor comms on this.

Lottie123 ref 09.07 post I agree with you but I would point out that you forgot that we started the year with £40m of revenues banked from contracts signed last year. Does this affect your figures?

AmatuerInvestor ref 09.55 post it is £30m that was deferred from last year and the blended margin rate is circa 22%. Also you forget that there is £40m of contracted revenue in this year from contracts signed last year. In addition there is the £25m of revenue from preconstruction work for this year. That is £95m at 22% margin equals £20,900,000 which is about 75% of the running costs and that still does not include contracted work form this year and we are in February so that is 11 months of work still to go.

In my Sat 09:13 post I came out with a 2023 revenue forecast of £107m. This included £37m of capital investment as part of the FSS contract. It did not include the £25m of revenues mentioned in the RNS this morning. It also did not include any other contracted work.
