If you want to short this stock go ahead but this is a good medium to long term bet. There is other news around other than a fictional submarine contract that might bolster the SP.

Kaeren re 14.24 post Thanks I was not sure when this relief was going to end. As you say hopefully it will get extended. If the orders have gone HARL may be able to claim back some of the capital costs of the investments to upgrade Belfast and Appledore.

It seems like the Integrated Review Refresh is on for Monday after the removal of a question on it from Defence Questions on Monday. The budget on Wednesday might also as you say be helpful with possible incentives to invest. Night we see an increase in capital allowances?

Kaeren ref 18.07 post in those cases it is unlikely to be much use as they are not indexed linked so using it to find out how much they are worth would not work. With the FSS contract it depends on the start date you use. When I do inflation calculations on FSS I use when the tender process started. I am not sure how or where Chiligee got his figure from. He appears to have gone quiet.

Further to my 16.45 post I note in this Q&A the figure is given as £1.6bn

The contract between the Ministry of Defence and Navantia UK is commercially sensitive. I am therefore withholding it as its disclosure would prejudice commercial interests.

If he will not tell the Shadow Defence Secretary I am surprised that he would tell anyone else.

Chiligee ref 16.25 post Can you sclarify where you got the figure of $1.78bn from as it is not a figure I recognise and I have used the BoE inflation calculator and it gave a higher figure. It would also appear to be inconsistent with parlaimentary answers.

ThisTimeNetYeerref 13.16 post I do not think that the Dolphin is pulling Cory Box Barge 1 as Dolphin is due according to depart on the 12 March at 12.00. While Cory Box Barge 1 is due to depart at 15.15 on the 11 March so would have left before the Dolphin. Not sure what the Dolphin is doing might be a quick repair job.

Bubble2021 ref 12.32 post I know that it was a while back when HARL, I think it was then called INFA, decided not to go ahead with the FSRU at Barrow. What I am not clear of is whether HARL still has the option on the land or whether the option to purchase the land has lapsed.

When I looked at this list on Wednesday I thought as I said to LSE03 in a response to one of his posts that there was a question on the integrated review refresh. I cannot find it now which may mean that the refresh will be published on Monday. If it is it is unlikely to be released so as to effect trading on Monday. However there may be leaks over the weekend that might.

drango ref 15.33 post The 1 June 2022 RNS said the Cory 1 contract would be done by Q2 this year so I would say Q4 this year or Q1 24. This is significantly faster than in the contract with A+P Ports to do similar vessels.

The latest vessel movements from Belfast are the tug Dolphin arrives in OQ at 01.31 on 10 March and leaves 12.00 on the 11 March. It is unclear if this is to assist Cory Box Barge 1 but the times do not seem to match up as Cory Box Barge 1 shifts around OQ at 15.15 so while the Dolphin is in OQ but Cory Box Barge 1 departs 15.15 on the 11 March which is after the Dolphin departs.

Stena Superfast VII shifts from V4N to SRQ at 11.00 on 11 March and then shifts back to V4N at 05.30 on 12 March this is likely a quick maintenance visit. HARL has done work on this vessel before.

The Excalibur is now scheduled to depart on 30 March so would have been in port all month.
