Si_Derman ref 10.04 post there are two possibilities for this firstly, The LTIP has been formally granted and they just did not announce it. Alternatively they are waiting for the Astra Asset finance to be agreed and any warrants issued before formally agreeing the options. I think the second is more likely as the size of the options includes any outstanding warrants at the time the options are granted.

HARL can really benefit with these posts but I do not see the civil service salary being high enough to attract suffciiently high calibre people. At least the NSO is making the effort and I hope they succeed.

Interest ates have gone up to 4.25%. I am not sure if there is any linkage between the Interst Rate and the interest that HARL will pay on the financing with Astra but if there is the cost has just gone up. Hopefully the warrants will persuade them not to increase the interest.

One person was in surgery no information on the nature of the surgery. Thankfully none appear to be critical. If I recall around 10 or 12 were treated at the scene. The US Consulate was informed because the United States Navy own the ship also some of the injured were US Citizens.

In case anyone is wondering why this concerns HARL. As can be seen from this link it has 2 drydocks as a result of this incident one will now be out of action for some time including for the HSE investigation. HARL has one of the nearest alternative drydocks so may see some work being divertd to it.

As things stand with a number things that are still progressing and are not producing revenues I can see where they are coming from. I am more confident than them. I am not sure when they started to hold but if they have a three year holding period then they would probably have sold regardless of where HARL was.

breakdown of how the £70 million for a Northern Ireland Investment Fund is being
allocated.
Kevin Hollinrake:
The £70 million Investment Fund for Northern Ireland is on course to be launched by
the British Business Bank in autumn 2023. The fund will offer a range of commercial
finance options with loans from £25,000 to £2 million and equity investment of up to
£5 million, increasing the supply and diversity of early-stage finance for smaller
businesses in Northern Ireland. The Bank is currently inviting proposals from potential
fund managers to operate the new fund.
Finance will be allocated based on the commercial merits of the proposals received.

Kaeren ref 14.50 We need to seperate out two different things the JR and the non functioning executive. With the non functioning eecutive this is caused by the DUP insisting on their concerns with regards to the Northern Ireland Protocol being addressed before they will reenter a power sharing executive. In the absence of the Executive certain decisions cannot be made. One of the decisions that is outstanding is approval of finance to appoint a consultant to advise on the best way to provide finance for IslandMagee. So in the absence of a functioning executive HARL will be unlikely to get any funding for IM from the NI Executive.

Unless the JR procedure is different in Northern Ireland is different to England and Wales, and I do not think it is due to the length of time it is set down for hearing, we will have legal arguments before a Judge then a ruling will be made on whether the decision to grant the Marine License is sound in law. Personally, my view is that DAERA will succeed. I say this because the Minister acknowledged that whatever decision he made he will be challenged so he would have been very careful in makinghis decision that is probably why it took about sixmonths to take.

Also my post this morning was actually arguing that No Gas Caverns will find winning their application for the full briefing document difficult. My 13.35 post was a factual statement based on prior posts from LSE03 that a decision for approval to engage a consultant to determine how the NI Executive could fund IM is being held up because the Executive is not functioning. I would also observe that I am one of the few people on here who argues that HARL should not sell IM.
