By proving up Heron1 is commercially viable, there will be other Heron wells.

The bigger picture here is that Matad has proven a business model, they have tapped into virgin territory and proved up resources.

They can use this to go to potential investors and banks.

Some of these debates are so childish, and guestimates are so extreme on both ends of the spectrum.

How about just focusing on a more realistic mean, like 400-500 bopd.

It doesn't change the fact that MATD will be generating a revenue and that is key.

Well, as far as I remember, Buck said to use Heron funds for future operations.

Buck also said they are always open to potential JV if it's a good deal. If not good deal, then Matad will go alone.

If as you said, we have 4-6 producing wells, then the SP would equivalently reflect that, and would be much much higher.

The fact that you are here is because the SP is where it's at, at the moment, with the potential of further expanding the Heron field.

You want a big and safe company, then invest in BP!

The truth:

You know MATD is undervalued.

You are here because you know MATD is about to become a producer, and that equates to a sharp uplift in share price.

For someone that have been here on and off since 2022, I definitely have that same feeling. It feels like the SP is about to erupt and once it does it will have a long run upwards.

If the Mongolian government are THAT supportive, as suggested in the article, then it's all the reason for MB and Matad not to mess up anymore.

I'm more concerned if anything, if other companies like Mongolia Foison Energy not having any trouble at all.

I've always said it's not the Mongolian government, but the past fault lies with MB.

Hamm, we are all eager for some updates. Let take a sensible approach and be more balanced.

Useless Buck did update the market, advising on H1 and H2 in the last RNS. He did state they needed more time to analyse both wells to further determine the options going forward.

Let's give him a bit more time to come up with a 2025 operational plan and the SP will be back up in no time.

I'd rather take take their time testing both wells to make sure data is accurate, and that all safety and hazardous aspects have been attended to, before reported back to the market.

Regarding any funding, JVs, and 2025 operational updates, they first need to know what they currently have to further go onto deciding their future priorities.

I know it's easy said then done but a bit more patience required in all honesty.

Saying that, I don't think it will be a quiet winter with inactivity. I think we will be provided with updates before 2025. For starters, they can provide sales volumes forecast once they know the stabilised H1 flow rate figures.

I feel like an update regarding H2 won't be far off too because they must have a rough idea of the problem. They just didn't want to say anything yet without doing their due diligence of looking into it. It's more or less a standard process that they must follow.
