JFT sorry to see you get so disillusioned by GENL, like you I feel very frustrated with this share, but I also blame myself for not taking my profit when it hit 300 for the second time last year. Contrary to you, I have made conscious decision to ignore my anger in not seeing the price going up after such good news during the past 4 RNS's released just recently, but to hold on into April/May and see if we see a repeat of last years up-cycle, if by some miracle is does rise and hit 300-350, I think that will be me out of this game for good as I do not have the working years left in me where I see my hard earned being put drain this share dealing casino as I will not have the time to make back the funds to allow me to retire in the next 3 to 4 years if I lost more from that I have today....sometimes you just have to accept that there is problem (a bit like a gambler or an alcoholic) and no matter what you do it is never going come good for you personally and supposed that is where you at today. Good Luck in whatever decision you make going forward.

Difficult to judge what this week will bring, but I would like to think we will break 210 this week, the point at which it dropped back this last time.

Calm before the storm comes to mind JFT. This will come good all in good time.....it just that a few people have not woke up to what is and will happen here in the next couple of months time. The management put out an RNS the other day indicating as much, but it is up to the general public to gleam what they are implying.

Bloody fat finger "pipeline"

The problem was last time I was so fixsated on 500, did not think to take my profit at 300 having doubled on my average, only to give it all back....but now maybe this outage on the lipeline is having a bearing on the price yet there was no mention in the update or an RNS since?

Meant to say "this time the stop will not be at 300 but 500".

JL79, like you I am amazed that this stock is not sitting at a much higher price, but if you remember last year we had a similar period around this time of year when the price yo-yoed refusing to go past around approx.120, if my memory serves right, then suddenly in late Feb, early March it sprung into life and was virtually up in a straight line to 300, the reason I am still here is that I am worried we will eventually for those patient enough see a similar rise, but this time the stop will not be at 300 for 500. I for one hope that I am still in if and when that actually happens. If eventually that does happen that is me out for good out of this daily casino as it is driving me nuts watching the price minute by minute.

Just don't believe how we been rolled over today, just when my prediction of 218 was looking for end of the week....Now not sure which way tis will run? But sure as Eggs are Eggs it will go opposite to whatever decision I make.

I would like to think, end of 2019, we will see a price above £3.50. so on that basis my year prediction is £3.50.

Not had a go for a while, as was thinking my wishful prediction was always wrong, but I think I am a bit more optimistic for next week, since GKP has raced ahead when normally we are about neck and neck share pricewise, and so on that basis I think we will see 218. So here's hoping we start to make head way upwards.

"In January 2018 Bina Bawi and Miran CPRs confirmed a c.45% uplift to gross
2C raw gas resources to 14.8 Tcf. The upstream part of the project has been
materially de-risked, with 1C volumes more than sufficient for the gas
volumes required under the gas lifting agreement. Following the CPR, further
reservoir engineering has demonstrated the viability of high-rate gas wells,
which in turn more than halves the number of wells required to produce the
volumes under the gas lifting agreement, materially reducing the overall
cost of the project.

A field development plan regarding Bina Bawi gas is set to be submitted to
the Ministry of Natural Resources around the end of Q3 2018, with one for
the Miran field around the end of the year.

Genel is ready to progress the upstream as required, with further investment
to be made appropriate to progress on the midstream."

Well done for your win mate, not so happy with the price, if you right for next week I will gladly take that as start that we have come off a new bottom.....not so confident so mine is 240 as at least that will be higher then the finish yesterday with hopefully more to come as we approach results....

Maybe we not hearing much at the moment as I understand the results are in Aug and that is when we will all be updated as to how close we are to being debt free, and I think it will be that news that will hopefully drive the price up, assuming all is well, as no news can also be taken as good
