Together, the Placing and Subscription of 80,357,142 New Shares will raise gross proceeds of approximately GBP90 million. The Placing Price of 112 pence represents a discount of 5.7 per cent to the closing share price of 118.8 pence on 23 November 2020. The New Shares being issued together represent approximately 18.0 per cent of the existing issued ordinary share capital of Greencore prior to the Placing and Subscription.

Looks like they f**ked everyone over after the bell, surely someone was in the know and as a result these would have fell today if the market saw this as a bad move, the only positive in there is that they say they are being proactive and have secured further funds from their lenders.

Well the shorters had to get something out as the worry beads are starting to happen, they know only one way this share price is going and that is north, slow and steady.

Anyway I hope it goes back to 140 , just as quickly as it did when it hit 8p based on this was bust.....what dreams are made off.

Laidback, just like you I do hope this does go up on Monday and continues to rise back to 50p and beyond in the coming weeks, but seen it to many times with this one, too many false dawns on this one, hence my reluctance to be convinced till I see it actually happen. First thing the MM's are going to try and keep a lid on the price, by the price being dropped first thing and a wide spread if no &am RSN in order to margin out people with high levels of CFD's (possibly hedged both long and short) at several intervals over the day to give their shorter mates a way out at max profits....

I can't disagree anything you say about the stock market being a big cot , having been f**ked over a bit like you, I don't think going to the Casino and playing my last tenner on the Roulette Wheel is my way out of losing my shirt and as well as my pants.

Yes good to see this finally moving in the right direction. JL hope it comes good for you I had similar experience in Yell (Hibu) back in 2012, where I more or less lost all but was lucky that I still had a good job to fall back on.... So G today gone past the 220 and well above the key barrier of 200 which is great to see. Wish you all well and I see Big H you have sold some this week, maybe a bit early this time around...but I don't blame you especially as this has risen from the recent low of around 170.....still got a couple thousand shares so maybe I will be able go on a holiday if we do see 350 in the next 12 months or so.

As for still invested - all out, decided will just have to work a few years longer to get the retirement I so long, instead of constantly worrying what is the value of my investments. Very sorry to hear about your loss JL, if it any consolation, I too went through a similar thing this very week,j more or less has left me with no money to invest, as I decided to have the bright idea to move my funds out of Genl, since it was once again showing weakness, thought in the mean time I will move it into MTRO, unfortunately having bought at around 290, it fell like a stone as some bad news was leaked. Too old now to re-coup so looks like I will leave this investment lark to the so called professionals. Good luck all with G, it will come good one day if you have the patience unlike me. Just proves the grass is not greener some where else. I will look in some time to time how you guys are going.
