Interesting development!

Even a small contract would be big for PET but I think that there is something way bigger for PET in the works... as has already been said, there was a rather major clue in the last update.

DH has achieved a small miracle with getting CLON in to Team Europe with the potential Bolivian lithium licences and I believe he has been working his magic in Europe on PET's behalf as well. Wouldn't be surprised at all if there is some bigger non-European outfit with deep pockets who want to piggy back on PET and CLON to get a piece of the action.

Personally, I'm hopeful that there'll be a resolution to the Tano stalemate soon.

GR is desperate to prove that the plant can produce sc6 so that he can sell it. He's prepared to gamble £5m of shareholders money to do it.

I'd be worried about the nature and t&c's of the loan - what is being used for collateral? Could there be a scenario where the open offer doesn't generate anywhere near the level of support needed and the lender decides to swipe the Zulu plant away from Prem? I wonder who the lender is!!??!!

Radika - hope you're well. My 'basket case' portfolio isn't looking good. However, I did sell a bundle of Prem just under 1p - probably my only good decision with Prem ever! Since GR bought Circum instead of using the cash raised for Zulu, I've called for him to step aside. Thought that he was going to do it a few weeks ago. If there's to be a way out of this fix, I can't see it being with GR but is there anyone out there who would be prepared to step in. I don't have enough invested now to be interested in doing anything but I'm surprised that there hasn't been an official move to oust him. Some on here might debate whether this is all GR's fault but if you're a funder or interested in, for example, a JV then you're going to conclude that he's not the man to invest in/partner with.

I'm more interested in CLON and PET now (in terms of risky investment with potentially very high returns).

The meeting and the interview are a hard watch.

Not convinced about the loan ahead of the open offer - seems to be a ruse to get some healthy fees.

I can see where GR is coming from in that a working plant will be worth a lot more but I'm not convinced that he's the man to hand over £5m to. Not sure that there's another option available though.

Rebel - the involvement of Team Europe, off takers and the US company is exactly why it's different this time round. The Indian plant has been/is being built and commissioned, the Bolivian authorities are engaged and CLON is manoeuvring in to a good position.

Interesting to see PET, CLON's sister company rise 50% or so this week... something is afoot... common interest is Ghana!!??

Anyone got any views on why DH mentioned the possibility of funding from Australia at the end of the update in mid-September?

Is DH pointing to specific interest from Australia to take a major holding in CLON and get a piece of the Li action?

I'm not sure that we would get an update on this in an RNS but the mid-September update set out a plan to collect bulk samples during October. A week or 2 later, there was then the fundraise - partly to pay for the collection and delivery of bulk samples to India - so I'm assuming that the plan was OK'd by the Bol authorities. Would be good if DH could confirm progress. In tandem with that, some negotiations were happening.

My guess is that there's been a wee leak on the above and that things are now moving along.

Yes - very interesting. Volume is up and there's some very healthy trades today. Could be a leak to those and such as those. Can see this heading back above 0.1 with some sustained buying. With concrete news, this could multiply in short order.

Things beginning to heat up - volumes picking up with some healthy buys and we might get another notification from Warner soon. I'd anticipate some news is heading our way.

Mizman - I sold out most of my holding in the last few weeks. I had planned buying back in at some stage but the report has hit that on the head. It's very clear now that AP has nothing to offer any potential financiers and, despite all the renewed excitement about the diamonds, it's unlikely to be resolved anytime soon. I'll keep a watching eye but.......

Have to admit that. after seeing the report, my assessment of where Vast was at was well off the mark especially in relation to BPPM.

Compared to the revenues, the loss is massive and AP needs to multiply revenues to get anywhere close to making this viable... and he's not shown any ability to be able to do that?

Really disappointing that sales of concentrate are down... because the grade isn't good enough... are they amateurs... that's worrying.

Even if there is refinancing... and I doubt that is going to happen anytime soon... or even if the diamonds are returned... don't hold your breath... the underlying fundamentals are nowhere good enough for Vast to get to a point of making profit... AP will simply eat through any cash he's been given to keep BPPM going... in fact, sounds like he needs another capital injection for BPPM.

Very disappointing results with no real hope of anything getting any better. I expect another substantial loss next year... if VAST survives that long.

News expected anytime now. I believe that more talks have been/are taking place with the Bolivian authorities. Team are confident that they'll get at least one of the licences.

Tried to persevere with the video but gave up after half an hour. Couldn't really make out what was being said most of the time but got the impression that GR is now desperate. Got a lot of sympathy with Martinigirl's opinions but GR is likely to take this to the absolute limit. If he doesn't get the vote, he'll do the open offer. There is possibly a way through this but GR needs some things to start going his way urgently. Given my history here, I'm hanging in for a while longer... given some of what I picked up last week (could have been complete nonsense!), I can't see Canmax getting a free run at picking up Zulu for sweeties!

Nothing new in that interview except that things were way worse than expected at BP. Doubt that Q3 production will be much better!

So he'll get some cash to carry on but it will be many more billions of shares compared to the postponed proposal. Feels like Canmax are eventually going to exact some revenge on GR.

In the dim and distant past, I think GR threatened to legally issue shares without approval... anyone else remember or am I talking rubbish?
