Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
One hopes that the Board will wait until the VWAP is $5 and immediatley exercise the option. That would get the max number of shares possible.
We all then hope the sp rises and they can sell as neccesary into the rise. If the sp hits $10 sell half, leave half to run.
If they don't sell at $10, they know something we don't!
I doubt very much that this will be sold for less than 100million and may end up going for multiples of that.
So, a potential minimum £2 per share IMO.
Patience is all. LR is making good progress.
A company with 1billion in the ground in a mining friendly country, with linked initiatives for jobs, skills, regeneration etc... simply should not have a MCap of 4million.
There is some superb research on this BB.
It is also right that there are differences of opinion. It does no-one any harm and is a good checkpoint for those, like myself, who get overexcited about the potential here.
For what it's worth, I believe we are just one positive RNS away from a 10-bagger minimum. When will it arrive is the question. I am happy to wait.
I think LRs end game is an all out sale. If he gets it right, I think we are talking a sp in the £s not pennies. Of course I could be wrong. But all looking positive for me currently.
I think we are in at the start of something very big here.
This is far more than "let's build a mine".
EUZ is part of a much wider ecosystem of stakeholders to ensure ongoing prosperity for the region IMO.
A little patience is required (due to, not least of all the differing stakeholders that will need communicating to), but it could be very, very good IMO. Without getting too carried away, I suspect the mine (and I am convinced there will be one) is central to the bigger plan for the region: employment, environment, investment, new industries, remedial works etc.. etc..
In December 2020, Dave Tapolczay, CEO of SGS said "We are delighted with the progress of the ARCADIA trial. Obviously the news that we will shortly have vaccines available is very welcome, but it doesn't remove the need for treatments for COVID-19, especially for those with underlying conditions such as diabetes. In some cases, the vaccines will not be suitable for people with those conditions, in other cases the vaccine may not be 100% effective.
Add to this the fact that uptake and supply of the vaccine may not be optimal, and it is highly likely that treatments will be needed for many years to come. Nobody should assume there will be only one way out of this pandemic. Certainly, big pharma companies want to offer a full suite of products for any disease area whether vaccine, prophylaxis, therapeutic, and for recovery.
Unlike many other treatments AZD1656 is not virus specific, as it is activating cells within our own body. This gives the treatment an advantage over many other treatments, and potentially it could be used in other virally induced respiratory diseases including other mutations of coronavirus, MERS and pneumonia. This gives AZD1656 longevity as a treatment beyond the current pandemic.
AZD1656 is an orally available tablet that is stable at room temperature, making it suitable for use around the world. Furthermore, should the trial be successful, we expect to agree a commercial deal with a partner almost immediately."
Read the above carefully. Then read it again. What they have confirmed today, IMO, is that they have an absolute gamechanger on their hands. The commercial deal should return significant value and I don't think we will have to wait long.
@JSVan, that article is from February 2021. Note the comment: “The holy grail is to have something that either the doctor can prescribe because he knows you have got Covid, or a variant even though you are vaccinated, and you take a tablet for a few days and it subsides.”
Personally, I think they have found the holy grail Prof Evans refers to above.
“It’s another great British win and will obviously will have commercial value. It will be a very affordable, orally-administered drug."
Nothing to do now but sit back and wait for the details of the commercial deal. Then we should see a boom. If the holy grail has been found, this sp could go north very, very rapidly.
.00127 was paid on the bell and a dummy sell for 30m was quoted at .00125 so... ...
Should be a positive day tomorrow!
IF news is positive and includes some detail around commercial agreements, 1p is achievable in the next few weeks IMO, minimum. Fingers crossed. Let's see.
GLA.
You could be right @topprize. My take on it is that they would need all stakeholder approval to announce a failure.
Simple as that. So the sp has to rise. To what level is anyones guess currently but I suspect it will be way above 1p.
Agreed @BigDave13. Nailed on 10 bagger IMO and that is being conservative. This drug could/should be worth billions.
We now sit back and let news flow and the market do their thing. Time for another cup of tea and a relax.
This time next week Rodney! If you can't buy, simply hold and go camping for a week with no wifi. Come back. Happy days.
“I am pleased to announce an update in respect of the ARCADIA Trial as the preliminary results of the trial are evaluated in readiness for publication. The company looks forward to providing a further news release later this week upon receiving all relevant stakeholder clearances.”
The timing of the release with all stakeholders informed speaks volumes. It's going to be BIG IMO!
