Tony's started on the White Lightening early this weekend. It was that or recount the millions he made with Next.

In one of CB's interviews he said that they were struggling to keep up with the drill in terms of halving the cores, logging and shipping off for the assay tests. I therefore don't think there will be any lag in the shipping process (whilst they moved the drill between holes) and am expecting the results for hole 2 roughly 2 weeks after those for hole 1 i.e. next Thursday, give or take.

The timing of the hole 2 assays may well be coincide with hole 6 finishing, so we may end up with a mega RNS.

Gixxer - CB in the last interview said that he was going to be more cautious with timing estimates (obviously saw the imminent-gate comments on the BB's!) and that the assays for hole 6 were due 'soon'. I don't think a 4-6 week wait would be considered 'soon' in most people's minds. So I think next week... or we'll see imminent-gate followed by soon-gate!

I'd love that to happen but why do you think they'll be out so soon after the hole 1 assays?

Suffice to say... assays from one hole doesn't make a JORC. We won't know the average grade for a while yet.

There was a major player hoovering up shares at around the 7.5p mark last week and people are still bailing out at sub 6p?!?

Sit on your hands and in a couple of days it will be back to 7.5 with the hoovering intensifying as we get closer to news re hole 2 assays and how much new stuff has been found by hole 6.

It is just now a matter of now confirming just how big the prize will be. IMHO, this is a hold, hold, hold.

Every day the big buys show up after the close of play as a major investor looks for a piece of the action. And every day PI's keep handing over their shares to them a a ridiculously low price. I guess some people are destined never to know wealth.

As naughtgordie reminds us... fundamentals, fundamental, fundamentals. We know we have the grades, we know we have the size, were in the most desirable jurisdiction in the works (even places like Canada are less desirable because the Woke want to make everyone equally poor)

FTF - I would also add they they have 0.6mt inferred and 1mt indicated Cu, according to the fact sheet on their website. I don't see them finding a buyer unless they find a lot more because of the reasons outlined by Iceberg.

CB has talked about XTR being a favourite in the Melbourne Cup and I agreed. World Copper may offer better value at, let's say, 50-1 but it feels like a 50-1 shot. On the other hand, XTR looks like it should be an odds on favourite but the bookies are still offering 10-1... it's the bet for me.

Great interview I thought. Clearly been reading the boards and complete put to bed all the questions/concerns raised. This is a rock solid HOLD (or buy if you have some spare cash!).

When the falling SP makes me jittery, I simply remind myself about the AA buy back clause and that it really doesn't matter what other people think about the grades, the jurisdiction or how it all compares to elsewhere. What matters is that AA (who know a thing or two about this business) want Bushranger back if 2mt of Cu Eq is found.

I've invested because all the clues tell me XTR are going to find a lot more than 2mt and each bit of news just strengthens that belief. Clearly the SP is going to ebb and flow (how it can lose 20% in a matter of days with zero negative news is beyond me) but sooner or later we get to the pay day.

CE - The lower grades further down hole 1 (where higher grades are normally found) seem to indicate that drill hole 1 did slip out of the sweet spot. Iceberg (a font of knowledge) refers to the plunge flatlining from about 500-600m in his blog. This theory seems to be supported by the hole 5 drill which ended at 876m, when you'd have expected it to have gone a lot deeper if the dip angle stayed constant.

The XTR team seem pretty certain too that the early mineralisation encountered in hole 5 is actually the start of a second porphyry. If it turns out that we are expecting twins then they'll need to add a few more drills to phase 2 and it would seem almost impossible to not to smash through the magic 2mt of Cu target.

Joe - Yes, drill hole 1 was aimed down the throat but (as Iceberg stated on another thread) the core won't follow a dead straight line and we'll have weaved in and out of sweet spots. That's why the assays for the other holes are needed to properly model it and calculate grades. So far, so good though.

I am expecting the time between assay results to roughly correlate to the time between each hole finishing i.e. roughly 2 weeks. I am thinking next Thursday for hole 2, give or take a day or two.

We will probably get a hole 6 update next week as well. And I'm expecting a TR1 sometime soon. Lots of potential good news to drive the SP north if people can hold on and ignore the vultures that are now circling.

I'm new to investing and have to say it is a ruthless business and these boards showcase both the best and worst of humanity. Note how the vultures have reappeared... I don't know how they live with themselves.

Hole 1 is aimed down the throat of the beast and I assume (happy to be corrected if my assumption is wrong) that the entire length is more or less economic to mine and that is why therefore no cut-off is applied (other than the first 110m of the hole before the mineralisation) . I an expecting the 'trimming' of the beast to happen across the width and depth.

I am also hoping that hole 6 is going to confirm we are expecting twins and a lot more holes are going to be needed to size them up.

Wonder how the seller of those 240k shares at end of day now feels seeing there is a buyer hoovering up at 15+% more than they sold for?

SP going north very soon... so much (good) news expected over next 2-4 weeks. Come on people... HOLD!

He does refer to 1% but for underground mines. It is an interesting listen and should really leave people feeling more confident about investing in XTR!

Panda - I also think that was the best interview to date. The fact that majors have already expressed interest should fill people with optimism because they really are the experts in this game.
