The existing JORC is based on a cut off of 0.3% and if you simply reduce it to 0.15% then, I believe, it gives us approx, 0.5mt Cu Eq, as per Lucky's calculation.

The huge extensions (identified by phase 1 drilling and the IP surveys) to the NW and SE and still to be added in. So too the content of the 'saddle' to the E. Then there's a 1km anomaly at Footrot begging for a drill to be stuck in it and maybe even a few pockets of goodies in between it and Racecourse.

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm feeling pretty optimistic about my investment.

Don't know about a background buyer... we don't seem to have any buyers or seller to speak of.

If there are any 'background' buyers then it's near impossible to see them coming. They just place large buy orders that sit unreported until the whole order is filled and, even then, they tend to show up out of hours. They can also buy via placements and stay hidden... anyone know who's holding those 98m shares issued during the last placement?!? TBH, I thought we'd see some confirmation of II's taking a position here long ago but, if they are, they are very good at hiding it. I guess it will happen when it happens and in the meantime we just need XTR to keep doing what they are doing as per the Fields of Dreams strategy... "If you build it, they will come!"

I'm hoping that CB simply misspoke in the interview and meant (as Ella said) that we have to wait for the drill to stop. If the drill is still going then that's great. We'll find out soon enough.

Ella - About 2:20... "We had to wait a while for it to stop".

Andrew - The language he used made it sound like the hole had stopped but how could it take 4 days to report? Especially when he also made a point of saying the market will be told when a hole starts, stops, and when the assay results come back. If it stopped last Thursday (or before) then the next drill hole must have also started... and we've not been told about that either!

It is really difficult to try and work out what direction/angle the drill is pointing. Can't believe we are going to have to wait until Monday to find out.

Andrew - That was my interpretation. If so, then hopefully we'll get an RNS today and another nice SP kick north to take us into the weekend.

I am also hoping for for a bit more than 700m given that CB made a point of correcting me about the drilling being a bit slower than phase 1! ;)

Just transferring some money to my ISA to buy a few more and it goes up whilst I'm doing it. Typical.

Ella/meepmeep - Something tells me that our Dr Quintin fancies his chances of finding 'US' a Ridgeway within Bushranger.

I think it was my comment about the drill spinning a bit slower than in phase 1 that upset CB! Was meant more as an observation than a criticism, as I assume that sometimes it can be slower going for all sorts of reasons. No big deal and I am personally very happy just to see the drills spinning again and with the decision to focus on the areas within and adjacent to the proposed open pit.

Iceberg - Do you think that the combining of the drill hole results from phase 1 and part 2 of phase 2, would be enough to issue an updated JORC? And then perhaps another at the end of part 2? I really like the idea of a 'banking and adding' approach to steadily build the picture and the SP.

Lucky - The RNS that set out the findings from the conceptual open pit mining study tells us Bushranger is borderline economic based solely on the original JORC. Granted a borderline economic pit would never get built but it seems odds on that some of the dirt identified as waste in the modelling will turn out to be ore and significantly improving the economics. And then there is the option to extend the pit to both north and south. And then there is Footrot. And then there is the option for some underground mining to scrap the juices from the bottom of the pan.

I am personally very confident this is going to be commercially viable and will result in buyout by a major.

The drill doesn't seem to be spinning as fast as during phase 1, so it's going to be a slow striptease. Nice copper mineralisation on show in those cores though... can't wait to see this babe in all her glory.

If news of a hole starting and finishing was deemed RNS worthy news during phase 1 (which it was), then I can't see the logic for thinking it would be different during phase 2. That said, I have no doubt they will use artist licence if and when it is convenient. And they may 'double up' news by providing info on the completion of a hole and the start of the new one at the same time. But I can't see us getting no drill hole news until the first assays are received back in 5-6 weeks time because we'd go back into an unbearable 'no news is bad news' situation. Please, no. Just no.

Hi Ella - At approx. 27 minutes in, Dr Quintin is talking about the drill programme and the two rigs on site. He then said...

"We'll have a very regular stream of announcements and results coming out to the market for the next six months."

I guess it is open to interpretation but I interpreted 'results' as the assay results (possible updates to the financial model too), which leave drill start and ends as 'announcements'. We'll find out soon enough I guess.

By the end of the day, the first drill hole could even be getting close to 1,000m in length. If it is at an angle of 45 degrees, then that would make it approx 700m below the surface.... could they be pointing it right at the guts of the thing i.e. the 'funnel' we can see on the IP survey? If they are aiming for that, which goes off the IP survey scale at 850m, then the drill could still be turning well into next week.

Now that I've parted with that bit of insightful wisdom... expect an 11am RNS saying the hole is finished!

Iceberg - Have you included Footrot in your secondary targets (SE)?

The downside of waiting for the chickens to hatch is that you miss the multi-bagging opportunity!

I think the reality is that most people won't have seen the presentation and the RNS alone doesn't light any fireworks. Hopefully there are some serious investors watching the stock who may now decide to take the plunge. Let's see if any big buys drop (prob out of hours) over the course of the week. I note a couple of bigger buys coming in just now... anyone want to confess to 552,377 being their lucky number?

FTF - I am invested where I see the greater upside i.e. in XTR. Like I said, come back in 6 months and we can compare notes on what turned out to be the better investment choice.
