Iceberg - Maybe (hopefully) we'll get another podcast to explain in more detail? It seems to be the preferred method of communicating detail but it means most of the market are blind to it.

So now we now officially have a West zone and an East 'saddlebag' zone! Should provide massive upside for the open pit financial modelling, especially if the Eastern side is the product of earlier intrusion event(s) and may therefore hold gold.

Couldn't have asked for much more from these holes. The RNS could have told us where the location of the drills now and where they are pointing though!!! Such teasing is not nice.

Ella - It looks like there is better access to the SE of Racecource. No woods to contend with and therefore more options when it comes to picking drill sites. You can see how limited the options are at the main Racecourse site dues to the trees.

I am also hoping for some gold in the first few assays to boost the Cu Eq grades. I am also craving a part 1 drilling plan... a list by hole number with coordinates, drill angle/direction and a hole objective (what's it testing for) would make me very happy.

Some will no doubt think we are being 'news greedy' but I too would like a little more detail in the RNS's. They must know the actual coordinates, drill angel, anticipated drill hole depth, whether it is testing for mineralisation within the existing JORC body or extensions outside of it, is it testing a high grade outer margin or whether they are testing for any economic grades within a waste zone of the proposed pit etc, etc. Just a little more detail would really help to set the right expectations for each hole.

Oh well... should be an RNS imminently whatever the detail. Really didn't think it would be any later than 7am this morning. No news is good news though!

I lasted a few months of early retirement before being tempted to do one more gig. Means I can have a little weekly top up whilst the SP lingers down here. I’ll try retirement again at Christmas maybe!

Half those views will be by a hardcore of probably no more than 20 or so investors going back to check things. Almost nobody will have seen it.

Found a spare grand lying around and had another tiny top up myself today. Will keep investigating as money becomes available because it’s a steal at this price.

cyberiachas - I agree the podcast was excellent but the RNS was pants. Strange that they didn't include a link from the RNS to the podcast, or a presentation, to show the 3D modelling and the scale of the likely extensions that should turn this into an acquisition target for a number of majors. I may be a cynic but it is almost as if someone wants to keep the SP low for a little longer. Suppose I shouldn't complain seeing as it's giving me a chance to keep topping up!

A sweepstake to help pass the time? I'll go for 7am tomorrow (Tuesday) for the next RNS, confirming hole 9 has finished and, hopefully, telling us where they are taking the drill next.

I've convinced myself that we won't get the first assay results back for another 5 weeks. If they come sooner then that'll be great.

dogefather - I think it is simply that the RNS that present the conceptual open pit to the market was completely uninspiring without the context provided by the webinar that followed... which I suspect was only watched by the already invested. Nor have any of the RNS's since had anything in them to make investors take a closer look.

I think it's going to take a really good assay result to come back (Ella's gold maybe) or a TR1 to jolt the market awake to the opportunity.

Xeiger - It was confirmed in one of the last interviews that the drill team are working shifts and doing 24 hours a day.

H202 - What news are you expecting? Don't think we'll get news of another Bushranger drill hole finishing until next week (unless they have really picked up the pace). Some good news out of Africa would be most welcome though.

I suppose a decision to mine might call AA’s bluff i.e.test if they are really focused on their own mines and not M&A’s. If that is a bluff though, I’d expect XTR to drag things out whilst they sunk more holes and got more assay results because we’ve not done enough for an independent valuer to factor in the potential (which we’re all betting on) and we’d end up giving it up way too cheaply.

Would love for that saddle to be all fat and juicy and confirm the viability of the proposed open pit. That would be a very nice base on which to build the SP.

Xtr were definitely using a handheld XRF. A BB gun compared to Newcrests AR-15.

Ella - It seems almost impossible for Bushranger to not already be in their sights.

Comforting to know that the big boys are also struggling with getting support staff, drill rigs and timely assay results!

I keep telling myself I've already got too many apples in the XTR basket but at this price I can't help adding just a few more. Just as well I came out of retirement for one last consultancy gig or I'd have no more apples to add. Mind you, if XTR doesn't come good then I may find myself out of retirement for the foreseeable future!!

Xeiger - Do we have anyone with the relevant back-hander experience to get things moving?

It feels like the company is maturing and I don't see a problem with asking Jeremy to focus on PMing the flagship project that could make a lot of people very rich... including himself.

Sad when all you've got to look forward to before Christmas are XTR assay results. :(

5-6 weeks. Wasn't clear though whether this was from the hole finishing or from when the last batch of halved cores was dispatched to the lab. I'm working on 6 weeks.
