I'm expecting another RNS imminently re hole 18, which could add considerable tonnage to the deposit. That RNS might also give us a bit more info re holes 20 and 21 (other than they are underway).

CB and Team - Keep up the good work but do you really have to tease us so much?!?

Docit - Maybe a pause between assays but it sounds like we are going to get another RNS re completion of hole 18 shortly and hole 19 can't be far behind. Take your breathes whilst you can!

Ella - Looks like holes 7, 9 and 19 were all from the same pad.

Docit - Hole 7 was report as completed 4 days after hole 8. There was a weekend in between, so we don't know exactly how many days after it finished. But it was a longer hole and will therefore take longer to prepare to ship off to the labs and to do the assays. I'm telling myself not to expect those assay results until the end of next week at the earliest.

Not surprised... no shortage of massive targets to point those drills at!

And more news of hole 18 to follow shortly… let the market react to those grades first!

The drill will be spinning 24/7 and I can't see XTR having the rigs and crews sitting idle (or letting them go) whilst part 2 of phase 2 is planned out. Straight on with the drilling I would think.

On a side note... why do they break drilling phases down into parts? Is this a weird mining thing? Perhaps they do it because each part/phase has different objectives? If so, it would be nice to be told what the drilling objectives are for each phase/part.

CE - In the webinar re the conceptual pit, they definitely said 5-6 weeks from the completion of a hole to assays being received back. Agree, the longer than expected drill hole length for the first few holes will have increased the turn around time. Can't be long now though.

Andrew - Agreed, the assay are late but not that late. They are within what we might call the 'Imminent Zone'.

I'm very pleased with all the good news of late and looking forward to getting the assays for H8... those cores we were shown looked very juicy.

I personally don't think we'll get an updated model until we have an updated JORC. I am hoping that will happen once the last assay results are received for phase 2 (parts 1 and 2) and will will probably just be for what is within the current conceptual pit. Late November? Until then, I think it is business as usual i.e. doing our own calculations! Happy to be pleasantly surprised though!

Then I think we move into a phase 3 to get a JORC for all those extensions to the deposit, extending the conceptual pit to extract it and building the value ahead of a sale. Don't mind waiting but would prefer to do it sitting on a nice comfortable cushion of profit instead of a loss! Thankfully, the SP only needs a little kick north for me to re-enter the comfort zone.

Come on the assays!

The Arc cores looked no better than those XTR linked to from when H8 finished. I think CB has realised you just set yourself up for a fall if you use the sort of hyperbolic language that was in the Arc RNS today and then grades turn out to be less than people expected. Much better to just wait for the assays and let them do the talking.

The market is crazy. Over on ARCM the sp has gone up 23% today, with nearly £3m worth of shares traded, on the back of an RNS that had a few core pictures... not even any details re intersection length. Go figure.

Assays please!!

LittleWing - I believe it is an old gold mine and settling pond. So definitely gold in them there parts!

It is also worth noting that Straits Exploration sunk some holes into Bushranger in the past and in hole BRC014 found 2m @ 8.07g/t gold (see link below). It looks like XTR pointed their hole 7 right at that hole. I think they are hoping to get confirmation of gold is those new porphyry units in the eastern section.

At last... a drill plan!

They are focused on finding most of the 2mt target for contained Cu in that conceptual open pit. That will give the project and SP a very solid foundation on which to build by then adding in all the new juicy stuff to the SE. And Ella's gold.

I thought we might get assay results last week too! I was sure they'd be no later than this week.

How about an 11 o'clocker, results for both H7 and H8, high grades, gold, and a buying frenzy giving the SP a great big kick before weekend? Not too much to ask, surely?
