Not really, they have just posted fantastic results considering there is a global pandemic. The MP's will get bored and move onto something else next week. Shadowfall will go bust.

Just got to widen your time and lower your expectations, would take that over crystalising my disappointment any day.

All CFD's are at a very low level now and have healthy margin in account, so not worried.

Worst case scenario is that these three months end up as 10% profit, not great but better than sticking my money in the bank. Stops are in place at 10% of original investment.

In my mind part of being a weathered investor is knowing how to psychologically deal with yourself when everything is screaming at you to do the opposite. Humans act in herds and it's a hard thing to battle.

It feels like a self fulfilling prophecy, there is a gap it must be filled.

If it now drops below these levels, that is where I would seriously consider selling. Still in profit, not as much as I hoped, but not going to crystallise my losses near to the bottom. There was some chat earlier about what PI's do wrong and in my mind it's knowing when to buy and sell. Mostly buying at the top of a trend and getting nervous and selling at or near the bottom.

If Boohoo was a rubbish company built with no revenue and no growth, would have dumped it at 370 and just been sad I hadn't done the same at 390.

The stupid thing was adding in extra above 350, that is what really did me. Yeah, my shares aren't going anywhere until this comes back.

Will probably be watching CFD's vigilantly tomorrow though and just cash out if it touches 320, as want to preserve some modicum of profit on them.

But yeah, looks like I have learnt a good but slightly expensive lesson about AIM stocks.

@Maxage I was not counting profit. The 20k is CFD's that went into negative margin on their own.

@Fira2011 unfortunately the 20k ish of CFD loss so far has probably scuppered any fun time money for 2nd hand Astons. Have had to fall back to my original sub 320 tranches, still positive but very much re-investment cash now. Still in the green on share holding though from 265 days, but that is not fun time money.

Just a waiting game now for sentiment to change and then we can be back to business as usual.

Am sure Shadowfall suffer from confirmation bias after doing so much work into investigating Boohoo. Just as some of us suffered from confirmation bias by sticking in this shares on results.

If someone told me I would have done better with my money in CINE on Monday than BOO, I would have suggested medical services.

Seeing a green box on my screen, guess that means the one person I have filtered is talking rubbish.

They have done the same in every interim and then in finals the result has matched the interim actual near enough every time.

The drop makes sense to me, the recovery does not.

If there is anything that I have learnt investing this year, time is the greatest healer whatever the stock. Don't pick rubbish stocks and you don't have to wait a long time.

@DavidLaw I tend to disagree, there is generally a flight to cheaper priced goods during an economic downturn.
