If ppl read what the GOI have been doing with clean energy, climate change agreements and all the meetings that have taken place between Ministers and representatives from the EU, the US and private companies specializing in clean energy you'll see that it's business as usual and they have already made a public commitment to developing their own natural gas reserves. It's all in the public domain, Cambay will happen and news will drop very soon, when it does this will fly. This small drop in price is simply a huge buy opportunity.

There have been plenty of placements recently some at a premium some at bigger discounts to this. Those that outlined the use of the funds have took off. People need to remember that this isn't to cover wages, admin or office costs the day to day crap, this is to make things happen and is all interlinked with Government approval. The Gujarat State Government has already approved this and the Modi Government will follow suit. A JV is on the way then bingo. People won't be whinging when those RNS's drop. The potential is huge, the gas is there and India needs this more than ever. Would have been nice to have bought in at a discount but this fund raise will make things happen and we'll all be laughing in the very near future. Guaranteed.

Anything below the .9 is a top up now. .87 would be nice as the bargain price compensates in any further delays in producing assay results. GLA especially newbies

Well our little sp rise was short lived. Not the end of the world but I wouldn't be buying in first thing tomorrow unless he follows this up with a numbers RNS. If I was a newbie I'd wait for the drop which will inevitably come tomorrow.

Despite the COVID situation in India, the country is still open for business. You only have to look at all the big meetings that have taken place over the last few weeks relating to energy especially clean energy, including agreements signed with the US over shale gas imports, all this as the country moves to cleaner fuel, gas from the Cambay fields being one such fuel. I would not be surprised if government support is made public imminently. Once that news is dropped Oilex becomes a big player in helping India become less reliant on imports and more dependant on its own resources. Watch this space but I don't think we'll be watching too long.

Very interesting article regarding further restrictions on gas production and exploration within certain areas of India. This only bolds well for the development of Cambay. With the demand for gas increasing and more limitations on where they can extract it from Cambay becomes an even bigger play of Oilex as the country pushes to be less reliant on imported gas.

I wonder if our JV partner could be Cairn, if they so a deal with the Indian gov they'll be ploughing 500 million into something.....could even be Cambay.

Nice to see some debate without name calling. So why would newbies invest on no new news? If they are the type of investor the company wants in, they would they not already know the official line through previous RNS's I doubt whether any savvy investors who will stick enough in to move the sp upward would do so through a regurgitation of what is already in the public domain through a webinar. For this to move on no new news these so called newbies are going to have to throw a few hundred grand in here to make this move. Without this all we'll see is a further stagnation in the SP for six months or until something substantial drops which is what everyone wants. Does anyone actually believe the sp will be where it is now after the webinar if there's no new news or will there be a further 10 to 20% + drop?

Small volume and given the amount of sells to buys the SP has done well so far today. Obviously no concerns over taking shares from any impatient holders. There's been loads happening in India this week in relation to foreign investment and moving towards clean energy which in MHO natural gas has to be right up there. Just a matter of time, but they have got a few COVID issues so might not happen overnight.

I wish I wasn't so tied in to a few others at the moment because I would seriously consider going short on this if it was possible especially if there's no new news. Yes some think it's immoral but everyone to their own. There's no such thing as a cert but if there's no awesome RNS on Monday or Tuesday, the SP will no doubt drop much further than we are now. Sentiment unfortunately is in play and although many of these delays are out of our control if we don't get facts in the next few days it doesn't matter how many promises of riches are locked in the ground, people will simply walk which is a great shame because much of this could have been avoided if they'd have put more thought into how they write their RNS's. Never give a timeline or we expect results, or should have...... because when they're not delivered we all know what happens.

Not sure who else follows Aussie miners but these last few weeks I've been following quite a few. Plenty of news flow plenty of drilling going on and lots of numbers being produced. Yes there was bad weather yes there is a huge demand and competition for rigs, staff , equipment and yes the labs will be full on. But when you pay big money to a lab for testing you expect a timeframe for completing those tests. If we have sent samples for testing I'd be banging that door down asking WTF delay. Still it's not the 20th yet, we can live in hope

There appears to be a bit of talk on twitter picking up on what this could potentially bring to this part of India. Let's hope the government over there pull their finger out grease the wheels and cut through any remaining red tape.

Oh please no webinar if no new news. The SP will be crucified. If they go ahead with this and it's just a repeat of what is already known we all know what the market reaction will be. Does anybody know the best way to leverage a 10 or 15% drop come the 20th on a no new news scenario?

I'm praying Bill pulls the webinar next week if all he's going to do is repeat what we already know. Jeez if there's no RNS with numbers by the morning of the 20th there'll be a massacre on the SP. We've all seen what's gone on with the previous RNS's so let's hope we have some unknown news and not just waffle. GLA
