Nice one cela good luck. I'm holding on a bit longer, got a buy order set again for 0.78 if it fills happy days if not I might stick a few quid in Artemis. The market was not impressed with today's news and with cash burning quicker than ever, tweets and interviews mean nothing especially when it's the same old news just told with a different spin. EH assay results should have been in ages ago and if they are in given as that info is price sensitive they have an obligation to release the news at the earliest opportunity. Imagine if those results are sat on a desk and they are mind blowing, and news broke friends of friends and family helping themselves to some cheap shares prior to the rns coming out. Not saying that is happening but it could easily happen if you don't release price sensitive info at the earliest opportunity. As I don't think they are stupid enough to do that, the delay in news is simply down to the lab not being chased to get on with delivering the news. I follow plenty of Aussie miners and although some have delayed results none of them are as bad as Alien, perhaps the labs look after their own, who knows.

Unclejim although we say no chance of doing a placement at anything less than the last placement price we know it happens and it's been done hundreds of times with AIM companies. I just think that if UFO tried it on any remaining sentiment would vanish but at the end of the day if the discount is big enough there will be takers even though as soon as it is announced the sp will retract to well below the placement price as has just happened. Taking that into account I can only see they're going to have to start really moving the sp up if there's even a sniff of a placement towards the end of the year.

Well if there are any interviews I hope the journalist ask some searching questions instead of just letting BBG control what is being said. How about the following:
Are you happy with the lab turnaround speeds in Oz?
Now you have work going on with all your projects in oz and Mexico how much has your monthly cashburn gone up by?
If you don't get a JV how are you going to bring these projects to production to generate cash and will that involve another placement?
If you need another placement this year to bring just one project into production and if there's no significant rise in the sp between now and then do you think you will be able to go back to the previous investors for more money considering they may still be sitting on losses?
Do you think the appeal will be there to invest if the sp is lower than the last placement price?
Just a thought but it feels like these interviews don't reveal much other than what is already known.

The results are simply delayed all this talk about them having them already and holding back the news is nonsense. They have an obligation to release them especially price sensitive information as soon as is reasonably practical. BBG kicking rocks and drilling holes in Mexico is not an acceptable reason to delay releasing the news. Quite simply they have not had them back and when they do get them they still have to interpret them and convert the results into understandable info for shareholders. I'd say we could still be weeks away from any news but that's no big deal is it because many people here are in for the multibags to 5p 10p which could be quite some time away. This is not a Novacyt it's an explorer that may even be forced to become a producer if no JV happens. Patience

Nap I totally respect what your opinion is and likewise what I'm saying is only opinion. It looks like we are all taking a different route but at the end of the day UFO isn't some sentimental charity, it's a means to make money we hope. Yeah I'd love to hit my buy order but if not I'm not going to whinge because I have a balanced approach with a reasonable long term hold. If the price drops the buy is done and when it climbs back up 28% plus then it sells and that process starts again. I make no apology if selling on the next spike helps to stop a meteoric rise because if that spike is based on earth shattering news the big players will be in, the fund managers, the institutional investors and there'll be no holding back the sp and that's where my long term hold comes into play.
Everyone should do their own research here as there's plenty of info out there, and any buying or selling should be based on broker info and the rns releases rather than what is just opinion but good luck to everyone regardless of their strategy.

God help anyone who bought shares in the last few days based upon "There'll be an rns tomorrow for sure" "There'll be an rns this week" I've got an auto set up to buy and sell if it happens great if not no big deal. No sentiment or emotion all about the money but it does make me laugh when everyone moans when ppl sell into the rise, whinging how it keeps the sp down. Get a grip ppl each has their own strategy we're all here to make a few quid how quickly we do it as a matter of strategy

Smiler someone posted on here how junior explorers are supposedly targets for the big boys now and mentioned a recent take over/buy out. I think the sp was $20 a share with buyout offer of $34 that's only a 70% increase. Not saying it will happen here but its certainly a possibility as is everything else. There could be plenty of takers if an offer came in between 1.6 and 2. A profit is a profit at the end of the day.

Nap. 78 for another 10k would be nice but I got 3 milioon at less than. 08 already. Would I accept 70% increase for a take out of Alien, possibly because 70% in the pocket isn't that bad. The issue for some would be that a 70% uplift on the current sp would leave them at a loss. We all wanna make money we just have different strategies on how we do it.

You can't blame it all on the labs. Biggest problem is CEO's giving timescales that they have no control over. Just don't give a timescale unless you are in control of every element of it.

Say what you like without fear Tryingard you might have a good point after all Sirius had a shed load of very valuable stuff in the ground and look what happened there. The BOD came out of that OK, only ones who suffered were the shareholders. Until all what we have is JORC compliant and I mean all of it and until there is the money or another plan to maximise its value then its only worth what someone is prepared to pay to take out Alien. Let's hope that doesn't happen for those of you who bought in on previous spikes.

Alex I take your point but it wouldn't be down to Bill if the offer was acceptable it's all down to the shareholders who would vote on it. BBG can say no and recommend no but if enough vote for it then its a done deal. Hence the reason why the news should flow to get the sp up. I'd be well up from this point on a 70% increase and I'm sure some who hold many more than me would take a 50 or 60k profit to. Let's hope no silly offers come in until news flows

I agree 5x5 but it's not truly reflected in the price. It is what it is so any potential bidder isn't really going to pay over the top just because we think something should be worth xyz hence the concern that UFO could be taken out on the cheap if enough ppl are prepared to sell for a 30 40 or 50% profit.

Got to admit that a low ball takeover is a possibility but given the price paid by one of the directors I can't see anything lower than 1.25 being offered. That's a nice profit for anyone buying in now and those that bought in at. 85 and below. Hopefully any offers in that range would be laughed at but you never know so BBG had better get on the phone to those labs chasing up the assay results.
The sp is what it is so if an offer comes in it won't be based on hopes an dreams simply based on what the sp is plus some upside. I'm sure the BOD are aware of this and will be doing what they can to start things moving in the right direction. GLA

All well and good BBG saying this that and the other, let's keep our feet on the ground until all this is in a JORC and an rns telling us how they intend to convert it into dollars. It will come but not in the next week or months but it will come.

Nice to see a few more buying the dips and not on the news. Can't understand some ppl who buy on news and sell as soon as the sp drops. Each to their own I guess. We all know this can open 25-30% higher on a earth shattering rns and yet ppl still chase rainbows. I got my 3 million as a hold and a million to play. Bit miffed that I didn't hold out for the bottom line but still happy. Today's price is awesome to get in for a quick turn around. That million getting sold once the EH assays drop. Be a nice profit to be had in a relatively short time for anyone buying in today.

Billy boy is getting as crazy as yer men at SYME and HEMO with his tweets. Tweets aren't doing anything for the sp here. Lab results will come April/May and then we might see some movement in the sp. This is a long term play before we get back to the 3p levels. It's looking like a great trade again for 10k below 0.7, easy 2 to 3 grand to be made over the next 6 to 8 weeks. Where else you gonna earn that return. Not in the bank that's for sure.
