Why would anybody take any notice of Goldman, yesterday it was said that their predictions over the Chinese economy was just to cover their short positions so to be ignored yet today they recommend a buy on miners Rio and BHP and ppl should take note. Very strange indeed how on one hand they are to be believed yet on the other they are full of nonsense. Couldn't make this up :)

Feeling a little smug today that no notice was taken a few months ago when many were urging ppl to top up and that it was the last chance saloon before the gold rush. Buy order in @0.37 let's see what happens because that would be a nice profit v risk if we ever hit fair value

Bishop you won't get many supporters suggesting Australia may be forced to show allegiance to the west if China commits to supporting Russia but it is something I've considered and the point may come when they have to show their true colour.
Still a bit away from that and hopefully it won't come to that but I prefer to be realistic than say it would never happen because we just don't know

24 Oct RNS Heritage clearance expected Q4 2022. So my question to the eternal optimists is why UFO or IOCA are not listed when they said by way of an RNS clearance expected Q4 22. If the paperwork had not and still has not been submitted is that statement not misleading the markets or is there an error on the website?

The rns puts a bit of realism on time lines, so they have 2 years to mine 500,000 tonnes and 3 years to hit a million.
Also if the company gets taken out, the shares are immediately handed over to staff regardless of all the conditions being met. To me that doesn't look too great, but would obviously depend on the takeover price.
So they have another 12 months to try and deliver on the remaining targets.
2024 should be an interesting year.

Oh yeah 5x5 still balls deep sort of agree we won't get anything substantial until March April next year. It's going to be a long 2023 but think it will be worth it for a 4 or 5 bag from this position. Happy to sell out if that happens.

Very balanced post Deanok, I for one certainly didn't believe for one moment that anything would be done and dusted by the end of the year despite posts banging on about the word "expected" makes you laugh how some people interpret the meaning of that.
There is still so much to do before this gets over the line and we haven't even started the 60 day due diligence period with possible extension on the potential AA deal.
Still it's Christmas I'm sure we'll get a nice tweet from the BOD.

There'll be plenty of time after Christmas to load back up before any substantial news drops.
We still haven't started the nitty gritty for the AA deal so plenty of time left before we get some real movement in the sp regardless of how things go in China

Expected is the key word Max, expectations normally result in dissapointed for some.

Totally agree Haddock still a very long way to go. The Aussies will all be heading to the beach in a week or two and then it's party time
The clock isn't ticking on the AA deal yet despite some ppl keep pumping out misleading info, that the deal is done, AA going to fund everything ect ect nobody has a clue about that.
We will be lucky to get close to mining by the end of next year, but we'll see who ends up being right soon enough. People just need to ride it out now and look forward to 2024 being a transformational year for the company.

The sp ended half a percent up, never mind Google, Yahoo or on here, the only place that matters is the LSE and I don't mean this chat board.
