For example, we even import some lower grade coal, to blend with our own, then sell the blended coal as Steam Coal to a local power station.

The money to purchase the mine was escrow'd some time ago.

Now, we get to sit back and enjoy the revenues & profits!!!

There's nothing to turn round, it's already making profits !!!

I could explain how, during the previous Met Coal price downturn, the previous Omega operators produced, blended and sold some as steam coal to a local power station to keep the mine operating at a profit.

Met Coal price now much higher than previous years of course.

Btw, did you watch Trumps vid about the reopening of a Steel plant?? And his comments where the Met Coal will be coming from?? :)

Tis true you can't open a CFD in the likes of RGM, but you can short RGM if you have a relationship with the correct broker/ market maker.

And if within a broker/ nominee account, think the declaration limit is 15%

The RGM management are ultimately responsible, they know it, they admit it. I however know what SM said, things that subsequently turned out to be rather inaccurate (choosing my words carefully) RGM didn't create the misinformation, they we're fed it by SM. Regarding the money... Rosa didn't cost much at all, the majority of the cash was for stage payments to acquire a different asset, one of large Met coal reserves. The ultimate failure, was that RGM expected/ promised that Rosa would be in production quickly, thus the revenues would be used to pay to acquire the extra assets. RGM still own their interests in those assets, and RGM haven't forgotten or ignored what transpired with SM. RGM's theory with the SM assets would have been brilliant. I will say this, some of the info about SM that's come to light, was some time after RGM got involved, Rosa litigation being one. RGM recognised what was happening, and stopped further payments. Mistakes made, could have been worse. But seriously, whatever you think of AB, SM is a whole different class.

Lke yeah, ya do know that's totally incorrect right? Both RRR & RGM made some lotsa folk lotsa money in the last bull cycle. Similarly lotsa folk bought at the highs and lost lotsa money. That'll be the mining cycle. Question... If I was an RGM BoD member, and the share price soared, and I sold RGM shares and made money, what would you think of me?

Those RRR Kansai warrants are straightforward enough. Exercise price always 20% premium to the 3 day vwap. Number of warrants depending on SP at the time. No expiry period mentioned. Normal warrants would tend to be converted 50 to 100% above the exercise price, these Kansai warrants do not provide for that facility, unless there's a super spike and they react quick enough. Kansai will probably only convert if they think the share price trend of RRR will continue upwards for an extended period of time.

RGM aren't taking on any debt. If the coal project requires a part financing (depending on size etc) then that will be at a project level, not Plc level. ie the MeT JV may have a finance agreement with the current vendors. Project pays, not RGM.

The reasons now, are the same as before. Because RGM see Met Coal as a worthwhile commodity. SM's coal projects were either distressed and looking to bring back into production, or coal reserves looking for it's first production. The new coal project, if one understands the RGM presentations/ interviews and RNS's correctly, is a currently operating mine. And should simply be a change in ownership from current vendor, to oue JV company. Everything being equal, it should hit the ground running, staff, plant, machinery, suppliers and customers already in place.
