GutterSnipe, given your atrocious spelling, I'm sure you meant to say "...you can't argue with the bell end". Honestly, if that's the way you spell and think, I suspect your IQ is probably in the single digits and could I suggest you spend your money on an education rather than on shares!!!
I see this more of a 'win' for Microsoft. While Microsoft may be offering Vodafone their cloud and AI services at a discount, it's Vodafone that are investing $1.5 billion in Microsoft. And once your infrastructure is all cloud based it's not easy to go back so subscription costs could spiral eventually. It would have been nice if the RNS had called out any projected monetary benefits in the short term for Vodafone. Hoping I'm wrong and the market see this differently.
The amount of posts on here directed towards that poster Toffers is unbelievable. It seems nearly everyone is throwing their two cents in, trying to make her stop. Don't people realise the ONLY way to make her stop is to ignore her? Unfortunately there are a class of people out there that get off on stirring the pot and making others target them - this is a phycological disorder and you are just feeding Toffers needs by doing this. The more you ignore her though, the more outrageous will be her comments in an attempt to get people to respond. Again, ignoring those posts is the ONLY way to stop her. Eventually she will get bored and move on to another board.
How about making a pact to not respond to Toffers and see how long she hangs about? If you continue to feed her and play into her games, then you's have only yourselves to blame. I for one need to see some informed comments about EUA without having to wade through hundreds of comments directed to and about Toffers of whom I really have no interest!!
Was there any mention in previous RNSs of how long we have to hold to get the dividend? i.e if i sell all my shares now will i still get the dividend (which would be the case if the Ex-dividend date was today).
If its within the 3 months, does that mean i could still buy at this 1.5p price today ( not sure why the share price hasn't shot up to 2.4 if its a sure thing) and be sure of getting an uplift? Seems a bit too good to be true if thats the case?
Such devastating news Arsenalles - my heart goes out to you and your family at this time. I know we don't know each other but I have a Faith and will be praying for you in this situation. May you find strength and hope as you navigate the difficult road ahead.
_Ian, I truly feel for you. I had vertigo a number of years ago and it was the most miserable few days of my life. If someone had handed me a cheque for a million pounds during that time, I would have literally told them to take the money and leave me alone. If the big one lands here, I hope you are not in the middle of a vertigo episode at the time. Hope it passes soon fella.
Look at it this way Pete, had it gone to 1-2p like the 'experts' on this board had predicted, you'd be sitting here with less than a grand wishing you had sold at 5p!
Had HE1 gone the other way, you may have patted yourself on your back that you made 30K, thrown a couple grand into a faceless charity to show your gratitude and chased the next big dream AIM share (which could well have ended in tears further on down the road). Its a never ending cycle.
But this share did what it did, undelivered on its promise like most AIM shares do and left a boat load of regrets in its wake.
BUT, before you so anything silly like listen to more 'expert' advice on putting your 8k into another share to try and make your money back or do something worse, please try this.
You've got 8k left right? Take out a tenner of that 8k, go out into whatever city you live in and buy some homeless person a hot meal tonight. That may sound a bit trite right now but you need to see what a difference a moment of your life and for less than the cost of a share trade can make to someone else that had literally nothing. HE1 may not have coughed up a new car or an early retirement (AIM does that for the VERY few) but, maybe it will have given you something else worth far more than that - a perspective on how important YOU as a person are and what a difference you can make in this world with very little.
I really feel for the pain you are going through right now but every set-back is a lesson in disguise - all is definitely not lost mate. What do you do with the other £7990 you have left...see how you feel after tonight!

I have some shares in Virgin Galactic so was just wondering why you think we need to dump it? Im assuming its on the off-chance that that Bransons flight isn’t successful or is there some recent news I haven’t heard about? Long term I’m thinking this has got to be a good play since a quick hop into space is the next ultimate experience to those who have money to burn - that mystery guy who bought a seat on Jeff Bezos’s first flight for example.
Interested in your thoughts on this (even if it isn’t EUA related)
Just cast my 250000 votes! It was so easy to do with Interactive Investor. They sent me an email link that took me to a page where all i had to do was select the ‘For’ option and press the vote button! Not really sure I understand completely why I need to do this but there seems to be a common wisdom here that we should so hopefully my votes help! Fingers crossed this all ends well for us all :)
Trading4good - cool, if around 20p is the lowest without a sale then that helps me a lot in deciding to hold. Just trying to get realistic figures to help me decide.
Lol! Sbrace, if the resources are there (and there’s a lot of evidence on this board pointing to the fact that they are), its just a paper loss anyway and just might be a case of waiting a bit longer until EUA mine it themselves. For me, my wife is hounding me to sell now to pay for a house extension so, if it was at 7p, I’d have a lot of explaining to do!
Not sure how comfortable/honest people would be about doing this but thought it might be interesting to see what people might gain/lose from this share alone based on an upper/lower amount resulting from a sale/no sale of this share.
I’m not a serious investor but admit I just happened to take a lucky punt last year on EUA based on a tip from someone on a board so I don’t have an agenda but just curious to see what confidence people have in this share based on what they are willing to risk.
So, lets say for argument this share will either be 90p or 7p (pre suspension) depending on a sale/no sale alone. Happy to change the upper/lower levels but, from reading the posts on this board, those are the predictions that seem to be quoted most based on a sale /no sale in the short term. Now, thats not to say that EUA won’t just start mining themselves if no sale and, if there are massive resources in the ground, that the share price in years may be multiples of £1 (so maybe no loses for anyone thats willing to hold long term anyway) but looking here at just the short term value based on a sale or no sale.
So heres my declaration at these two levels
7p - £17.5K
90p - £225K
Obviously some may not be honest about their levels but thats their problem as they themselves will know how much they stand to gain or lose so would be great if this didn’t turn into a thread accusing people of being liars.
If not comfortable doing this then would appreciate if you just didn’t respond rather than shout abuses at me. Thanks
Correction *‘they’re imposed...’ - no doubt I’ll be immediately accused of being a school boy that should be paying more attention in English class!
@RMR1969
I hope your speculations about EUA are more accurate that your ones about me! Far from just ‘popping up’ recently, I too have been in this since 2019 when it was below 1p. Right now I’m sitting on free money to the tune of about £80K and haven’t traded any shares since then in EUA so I’m battling in my own mind whether to take it out and be satisfied or wait for the possibility of an early retirement. I have the same facts as everyone else so the only thing that stopped me taking this out at 20p is the sentiment of others. And yes, I am grateful that the general sentiment made me still hold when this reached 42p at one stage but based on that same sentiment I am now sitting with the share price at 33p. With nothing but the same info as anyone else I’m just looking for balanced views. But the moment someone challenges anything on this board they are immediately bullied.
So, I’m not going to engage any more (yes I know i said that a few posts up) but just thought i should make my motives clear before their imposed on me.
@GLG
I have read all the RNS ‘s and am still none the wiser so yeah, maybe I am a fool, but better an informed one than an ignorant one. Shame people have to resort to name calling and bulling on this board so guess I will just shut up now and wait for what will be.
A genuinely blessed Christmas to you all- including you GLG :)
You can make anything SIMILAR in some respects to anything else so why relate this process to EUA unless its just to promote a one-sided view. Just fed up with the ‘boys club’ attitude on this board - at the end of the day no-one knows how this will pan out ultimately and there’s going to be people who may end up with a huge loss or a huge profit based on what is said on this board and would be good to have a thread that just consisted of FACTS and not speculations and analogies. Is there anyone on this board that has been involved in a mining share sale process-if so, your input would be invaluable.
@GeckoLovesGreed
Actually, on your house sale analogy, only after theres a sale agreed are solicitors and surveyors brought in and thats when the ‘Sold’ sign goes up. If EUA was sold surely thats the time when shareholders would be told (since there’s no need to keep it secret and to deter others from coming in and trying to arrange a viewing!). So all this talk here about the sale done and dusted and they are just waiting for contracts to be signed then doesn’t stack up (using your analogy). The longest period of waiting is then AFTER the sale while contracts are sorted and prices re-negotiated based on the survey before the actual keys are handed over.
So your simple analogy actually scares me more than it comforts and I certainly hope selling a mining resource is nothing like selling a house (which I suspect it isn’t)!
If you are going to make these kinds of unhelpful comparisons please look at it from all angles rather than one-sided rosey tinted glasses ones that will confuse rather than clarify.
I am hoping the expected DFS for WK is better than expected, and that this share price will get a huge boost in the interim. My decision would then be whether to wait for a sale (which may be life-changing but may be a while) or take a load out and be satisfied with a good bit of profit. I’m just looking for balanced views from this board to help be make that decision.
Merry Christmas to all and if you’re blessed with family, health and a roof over your head, I’d consider that way more important than waiting for Sale and DFS RNS’s from EUA.
Anyone know of any (preferably free) APIs that I could connect to to get the feed shown on the Share Trades page. I’m interested in writing a web page that would grab the values and give me an ongoing total of the buys vs sells to compare against the share price. I could sit down with a calculator and manually total them up but with an API I could just calculate the totals on the fly.
I tried Rapid API but can’t seem to find an endpoint that would be suitable
Cheers
@TheMadStork
From what I've learned tonight, you may be right in your figures (of course I have no idea as I have not done that research), but the value of the company is being based on the potential of MT which is where the 1Billion valuation is coming from. I picked up the WK is peanuts compared to MT which is why the DFS for WK isn't going to make a lot of difference either way (unless they have grossly underestimated the value in the preliminary report). Thats what I'm hearing anyway...
...and I thought I had it all sorted out in my own mind from my 20:11 post!! :(
