I'm not sure there is a market for imaginary shares, cov, so I'll probably sell my shares instead. As I've said throughout: I get that you don't like my argument because it doesn't get you an immediate payday, but maybe try not to get so petty as to question my investment. Add, the only irrefutable evidence of a sale is when my shares get transferred to the buyer. The only evidence of no sale is... Everyday we don't sell. Add today to that body if evidence. My opinion continues to be proven correct every day. The mantra about an imminent sale gets weaker with every non-sale day. Do you see that?

The arrogance that this 'sale-certainty' points to is astonishing. It implies that we are the chosen, smart few who have seen the potential of a multi-bagger and are the only ones doing good enough research to recognise it.... And the fact that no one else is buying in the open market points to their silly opinions that it won't sell for a huge premium in the next year. How misguided of them. Good job we're all correct and in on this big secret...

We won't sell before Dec '23. Of that I'm confident. You have your reasons for thinking otherwise, but most are based on circular arguements developed here, on the back of biased individuals blustering. I just don't think those with pockets deep enough for a buy out are going to be forced to bid soon, which has always been my point. Have a nice life- beware posting unsubstantiated conjecture :)

If you do understand fully, add, there will be a bid soon and I'll be left embarrassed. But I don't think there will be, so I'll remain correct. Do you have a date in mind when you'll realise I was correct? Dec '23 is fine :)

If you were a major that saw a predicted structural deficit, would you rush to mine sufficient metal to ensure the deficit never occurred, and keep supply healthy and prices low? Or would you ensure you had scalable projects in the pipeline, but delay production until buyers were desperate and willing to triple your margins?

BHP aren't exploring Ecuador themselves as some kind of elaborate bluff. They expect to find resources all over the mountains. And if they do, they don't need cascabel.

They won't be rushed, and neither will anyone else.

He can swear about existing shareholders until he passes out. He still needs a buyer. Until he secures one, or doesn't and admits defeat, it's just the bluster I keep having to remind you that it is.

Then follow my advice from yesterday and stop writing to me- simple! The structural deficit of copper is predicted by banks, but majors know their assets and timelines. They want a slight shortage to boost prices. Hence no rush. :)

Fort, you're not saying anything the echo chamber hasn't already heard over and over. I'm saying there won't be a bid for solg before AGM 2023. Only one way to find out who is right, and I've said that I will offer apologies and eat humble pie if it sells before. But it won't, and each day that I'm right will annoy you. I get that. See you tomorrow when I'll still be correct :)

I'm clearly a bit more patient. I invested early in the hopes of finding good assets and moving them on. I'll hang around for that, thanks. But I'm in no rush: I work for an income- this is a nest egg, and one that might hatch one day. Sp up, sp down, I'll hold in for a payday. But it won't be this year or next, I'm afraid. :)

Add- my view is based on the lack of credible evidence of an impending bid. I know lots here have chosen to interpret recent action as a sign of a bid. I believe they are wrong. They are the actions of individuals trying to cause a bid. That's a very different thing. As I said yesterday, there's and ingredient missing in this recipe.

Blimey, fort- I assume yours is some kind of feigned ignorance for comic effect? You jump around all over the place, making wild assumptions rather than reading. I want a sale. I don't think one is going to happen before AGM '23 (so not imminent like so many here insist). I'd love a sale at a top price at any time (who wouldn't? Honestly can't believe you can have misunderstood that genuinely). But again, I do not think there will be a sale any time soon, and anyone who says there will be is spouting rampy nonsense.

Not sure where you got the impression they I didn't want solg to sell from? But that's just not true. What I said many messages ago, and what I maintain now (despite the bluster and sheer force of will on this message board!) is that solg won't sell any time soon. So the people (hands up, everyone!) saying a sale is imminent are spouting the same nonsense they have for several years.

Nick and others don't have to do anything to convince us there us a takeover coming, Red. According to the narrative here, they need to scare or annoy the world's largest mining company into buying a company they have a long term position in. I don't think they will succeed there- we're not the big stack in this game!

They are moving quickly. Announcement of the completely standard AGM. Further sale of shares at rock -bottom prices for temporary cash. A man in canada swearing a bit.

But no sale, and nothing to suggest BHP will be forced to act. They will be frustrated by how badly run their small investment is, but not prompted to act before 2023 AGM, as I've maintained. So the people who continue to be wrong each day are those who shout into this echo chamber that we will sell soon.
