Bit rampy there, bubble? What are the signs it looks good? Just the tsx price? May we'll go up, but could go down, and red's hilarious (though tedious) 'quoting' of mm's appetite has proved itself to be completely inconsequential today. Is that your basis? Just interested

I don't think anyone besides red is panicking. He's stress-posting imaginary trades, we're reading DGR releases that speak of long-term value in Solgold as a company, and increased exploration efforts across the regionals.

Yeah, that consortium seems just as likely as AA buying solg. I'm torn 50:50 between which of these two well-founded suggestions is most likely....

Any other theories? These are great. Maybe Elon could 'stock an 80p bid in'? Don't stop now, one of these must be the eventual outcome!

If it is labelled as an A trade it's both a buy and sell, but the transaction is only reported once. The system for assigning buy/sell labels then has to make a judgement call comparing the transaction price to the middle of the best offer/bid spread. It's crude, and doesn't really mean much. Hence you often get blocks of A trades falling one side or the other of the estimated middle. With O trades involving MMs, it's more meaningful to attribute 'buy' or 'sell' as that's the actual action taken by an investor in each case.

One thing is and always has been clear. There are no 'Algos' moving the share price. If MMs have work to do, they'll get it done, but not by trading 150 shares at a time with others!

As with the BS (IMO) about the strategic review leading to an imminent bid, one should DYOR and make up your own mind, but in the case of A vs O trades, there really isn't any mystery or guess work

Thanks Red. I don't know if it is just my screen, but I have this little button just along from 'chat' that allows me to see the trades, too. Does everyone have that? Because if so, we probably don't need to report them individually on the chat :)

I'm absolutely dogmatic. This won't sell before AGM '23, in my opinion.. today is another day to support that. Again, I'm not trying to change your mind. Just provide a bit of balance :)

Add - I'm not asking you to accept anything. What an odd idea. You shouldn't change your mind based on anything you read on a message board. I'll say the same thing to you as the other slightly nervous posters on here: have faith in your ideas and your investment logic. Just don't project opinions about a sale in the next few days/weeks/months as fact.

BHP are interested in copper, and Ecuador. That's why they've started a regional exploration subsidiary there. Logic there is that they don't need to bid soon. :)

Also really enjoy the 'deramp' suggestion. It's up there with Red saying I have a large platform (!)

Spoiler alert: nothing anyone says on this small message board of the same dozen people has any influence whatsoever on the company, the share price or the market sentiment. None at all.

Sorry, FT. It might bolster your blinkered view to believe I don't just genuinely think there won't be a sale soon, but that's the reality. Shares locked in, no interest in trading, sit back and relax. Call out people presenting the imminent sale argument as substantiated fact :)

There is absolutely no doubt that the company now want the same thing as most of you on here- a quick sale. I've maintained that for a quick sale you need a desperate bidder(s), and that's the ingredient that's missing. Other companies will be willing to wait, and won't bid just because Red or Fort or Maxit really wants them to. And to reiterate, as people have short memories, I am sure someone will bid for solg, just not imminently. Others here have been unwilling to commit to a date when they say 'this will kick off soon', because they fear being wrong. I've said it won't sell until after AGM '23, IMO. Every day that passes, those who have thrown shade at me remain incorrect, and I'm still right - it's quite a nice feeling :)

What party, novice? Bit of fundraising lately, everything else is hopeful bluster. I'm sat very pretty, thanks- waiting a couple of years for a buy out. The ones who might benefit from your advice are those desperately hoping for, and imagining the signs of, an imminent sale :)

Ah, I see. That's very kind. Not sure who you are lumping me in with, though- is it just people who don't agree with the view that this will be sold before the 2023 AGM? Because that seems a pretty niche group! All the best.

I sold my cine shares ages ago. And i simply told people there about corporate finance and debt covenants. They believed cine would fail the next few tests. I rightly pointed out that they wouldn't.

Did the original question also contain all of those spelling mistakes, or have they been added in?

My point remains. 19 people here can be willing to sell out cheap. 2000 retail investors could put their entire share holdings on ebay. I could paint 'buy solgold' on Maxit's head office. It makes no difference. You still need a bidder. And I don't think you're going to get one before AGM 2023, so relax. No need to assert that there will be multiple times a day. If you're happy invested, great :)

Some on here are just upset that the counter narrative I provide to their 'quick sale' fantasy has them questioning their own entrenched beliefs. But your comment seems more personal, so maybe you just don't like seeing fake-CEOs called out :) who knows/cares.
