If there was market confidence in 'what Scott is trying to achieve ' we wouldn't be at 9p, add. To say it's fine because he knows what he his doing is to suggest you know better than the market, isn't it? If and when Scott has a good idea, the market will react. So far the market has been so unimpressed that the SP has more than halved. If we recover into the 20s it might be time to say Scott is working on something meaningful, until then it's just hot air to try and keep his job, keep the asset, and prevent a drift too much further down.

I don't think anyone could be accused of rushing solg, cash! Lots of these ramping folk claimed 2021, or 2022, or 2023 would be transformative. Sensible posters realised it wouldn't happen then (and the most sensible know that 2024 is going to be a rough year for us). But these rampers insisted something was just around the corner, and some poor posters listened to them and not the sensible voices. I assume you listened to those in the know and got your money out in the 30s? When will you buy back in?

Is it negativity or realism though, cash? Share price is in the toilet. Talk of fast and smart is long gone, and lots of these people will have been taken in by it, even though it was never a viable possibility. There is a troop of rampers here determined to have others buy in, before we know the terms of the next cash raise. If you're going to point your ire anywhere, perhaps start with them? They appear to be the ones making up stories, downplaying problems and fabricating reasons for optimism that aren't currently there.

Don't get it twisted, add, even if you are trying to be funny. No one thinks Mexico is going to retaliate. It is president Noboa's statement since that could be a source of genuine worry to solg. We're looking to attract investment in Ecuador, and he has said that the dignity of Ecuador's people means it is okay to ignore international law. As a major, would you not be a bit worried that he's a populist who is willing to tear up international convention? It is these kinds of convention that would see his government stick to the terms of the IPA and any subsequent third party arbitration. The logic goes that if he's willing to violate the inviolable rules around foreign missions, how easily would he ride roughshod over an IPA?

I know the response will be 'but he wouldn't do that because that would hamper future investment', to which I'll simple say: the man just ordered the storming of a foreign embassy. He is not a thinking man.
