I cannot see a worse year than the one that past especially without a CFO. Now that all is factored in, with people from ARM and Cisco involved in the management and the huge investment completed, I am convinced that the more we move forward, the more improvements will be flagged up. This is the only decent semi left "floating". So I am also one of those who believe IQE will be taken over as did ARM, IMG and others in the past.

The Cisco experience will be deployed at IQE to enhance its exposure and its name. In addition, if an order is announced anytime, expect the SP to pass through the £1 mark within one week or two as this will trigger shorts closing and new institutional investors buying.

The rise is backed by a good volume today which is a positive sign of "return" by instits and PI's.

IMO we have hit the bottom around 65p. All negatives are now out of the way. Any positive news from here is a plus for the share price. At the end of the day, IQE sells a high tech product with high barriers of entry - in demand worldwide, makes a profit and made huge investments to grow production. The only outcome now is to grow or to be taken over. Thus why many bought and are continuing to buy.

Take any stock and check the history of the "analyst ratings" since they started covering the stock and we can clearly see how many times they got it right.
So the price is basically a function of sentiments, events and progress of the company in successfully implementing its plans. all the rest, whether coming from DB, Jesus Christ, Budha or Muhammad, it doesn't mean anything to me.

The reasons why I am fully loaded in FRES: Drop overdone, sector rotation, PM's lost a lot in particular silver, FRES will deliver positive news at any moment regarding a few on-going projects. FRES is one, if not the largest silver miner in the world (with growing gold production), has plenty of cash, located in a safe and stable geographic zone, makes a good profit and gives a dividend. So regardless of the share price behaviour, this is the kind of stock I wish to have in my portfolio for a few years.

In fact all favourable conditions are basically aligning themselves for precious metals takeoff (gold and silver becoming market flight to safety). One just needs to be positioned at the right time, at an early stage in this sector to rip off the full benefits. FRES is so battered that it has become a screaming must buy..Some news too: . "Speculation" is only speculation. In a country like Mexico, can they afford and risk putting thousands unemployed ?

FRES drop was overdone and too much exaggerated.
One of the last remaining decent silver/gold explorer, cash rich, profitable with a decent dividend,
It's so compelling that I actually topped up a few times since yesterday.
Then in any economic downturn or slowdown, precious metals take over in the market.
So this sector is the one to look at.
How on earth such a stock escaped the radars at these levels - SP at almost 5 YEAR low ? ...

Often, "buys" appear as "sells" and vice versa. Impossible to the sp to rise if £2.3 million worth of shares were sold.

Martin Flood is close to retirement and is over 67 and his job title means basically nothing as BP has already a proper CFO. (what really means Chief Revenue Officer) ? I think it looks he is preparing to retire probably before the end of the year. So he leaves some investment behind and takes his major lump sum for his retirement. So he could just be this "extra overhead" for BP. .
