I think many do not understand the speed of growth of this company. Thus why updates are in series. Those who know the outcome have already bought and continue to buy before they miss the last boat, I mean opportunity, because PI's will have to chase it at prices in the mid £4+ very soon.

I have looked and was following Mpac for a few months. Since it upgraded its already upgraded numbers, I cannot find a defensive and yet growth stock to tuck away for the long term. Why the long term ? This is because Mpac is exposed to so many various industries that its growth will be difficult to quantify accurately. Thus why it has to revise up its numbers. Growth and defensive stocks are nowadays rare and Mpac is one of them. Happy to buy and top up on any retracement.

I am afraid some shorts will get trapped this time. This is no joke anymore. Several parties are talking about a takeover. No joke anymore believe me. Many will end up paying back every penny they made by shorting.

A bidding war soon as this is a unique business, generating loads of cash in a very rich area.

Mafi - I was considering particularly the increase in testing. Many worried people (and their kids, babies etc.) get tested to make sure everything is OK. So There is an immediate increase in income than before - just from testing alone.
I also noticed today buying activity is one of the biggest ever. Someone is buying loads.

NMC business has one of the best visibility tool on future projections.
Now that we have this coronavirus, I wonder what "positive effect" this will have on their numbers. This is probably why they flagged up twice - "business is strong".

Cheers Theosus - IMO, the only thing that changed since peaking at £40 was sentiments and uncertainty caused by MW. Now if the company did mistakes, it will correct them thanks to MW. But the business itself is pretty unique and strong cash generative as it is located mainly in a very wealthy region. Each patient has to pay his/her treatment upfront so cash flow is really excellent as they do not need to chase payments as they do in most businesses.
