Look at the FTSE plunging and companies issuing profit warnings. IMO this is only the start for the rot. The impact of the virus will be much more serious and will be seen in the next few months when share prices will lose a minimum of 50%. Thus why I am investing with confidence in NCYT, a company combating this virus.

From now on, when many companies will announce their results, they will always mention a possible "Coronavirus negative effect" while on here the company is working to eliminate completely the Coronavirus.What an irony !

Where really to invest ? Gold has peaked. All other sectors will be slaughtered when the big majors in the US start piling profit warning upon profit warning (because the real virus effect has not started yet). On here we are facing a possible pandemic with the company preparing to supply millions of kits. How on earth one can short this or be left outside ? Either people are blind, thick or stupid.

If say any news (approvals, orders etc.) arrives this week, the price we see today will belong to the past. I cannot see where else to be invested. Even gold has peaked ! Could therefore today be the best and last opportunity to get in ? This week will tell.

The problem with China is they cannot admit they are wrong or they are lagging behind something. so to them "if a test kit exist in the west, they must have the Chinese version preferably working better". This is the mentality. Some a reporting incubation periods of more than 2 weeks for people tested negative.
If the incubation period is proven to be 2 weeks and that a person tested negative after 2 weeks shows symptoms of the virus, it means the test kit used is not accurate enough and thus not reliable. This is a disaster - again - because it will direct scientists to a new wrong incubation period of more than 2 weeks - if they assume the test kit is accurate enough and not faulty. Better the Chinese admit their equipment is rubbish and not reliable and start sourcing proper ones instead of playing politic in the midst of a plague. Always the same.

A healthy retracement for the next leg up - as a spring. All indexes are butchered today.

My big worry is Africa where China invested a lot and where countless travel between China and Africa was happening even when the virus was spreading worldwide. France has lots of relations with every French speaking African country and help will probably come with the likes of NCYT. I wonder how many test kits will be shipped to Africa ?

What one has to be aware is that even without any news, the SP will be sensitive to loads of cash released from oilers, miners, airlines and many sectors hit by the virus coming to pharmas and gold.

Agree Mikey279 - The FTSE is down -3% and this is not even the tip of the iceberg regarding the after effects of the virus on world economy. I took the decision to buy NCTY + pharmas and gold. Many sectors from industrials, retailers, food producsers, softwares, oilers and miners will be hit hard for the next 6 months at least. Why, every time a US heavy weight issues a profit warning because of the virus, the markets will drop a few %. And this will continue until the virus is controlled and he world economy starts to recover. IMO, this situation will take a minimum of 12 months. By then, NCYT is expected to exceed conservatively £5.

IMO, in 6 months NCYT will hit at least £5 while every other sector will suffer 40 - 50% correction. A we go along in the results of big corporates, many will flag up the negative effect of the virus. Each time markets will correct. Each time the DOW/Sandaq correct, the FTSE will follow. An nobody know what this virus will do in 6 months. Fears of Dr John Campbell are confirmed in his yesterday update about Iran: In one Iranian region alone 50 people are reported dead !

IMO, due to the domino effect of this virus on the world economy, I would immediately get out from these sectors: Oiler, miners, industrials, software and food producers. Pharmas are the best place to be during coming correction. Each time the virus effect is flagged up by large companies in the US and Europe, the market would correct. This is my own opinion.

Regarding the SP, I am sure it will fly very sharply as soon as we get some update on FDA, China and possibly large orders from Europe and elsewhere. So I won't be surprised to see the SP reach £3+ very quickly.
